Secretariat didn't run in the Travers. He was out sick after ( and possibly during) the Whitney.

Joel Rosario off remaining mounts- so Frosted needs a new rider.

Well, the good thing about not being a total Pharaoh fan means I can enjoy his races whether he wins or loses without falling apart beforehand. However, I do really want all to come home safe and sound.

He had 15,000 show up to watch him gallop yesterday. I want him to keep winning.

Don't get me wrong. I don't mind him winning on out. I just don't take it to heart if he doesn't. I do hope that Beholder learns how to ship and takes the classic though.

You could tell Keen Ice was doing well down the backstretch, but it took Frosted softening him up to get him the win. However, I hate to say it, but the time will not produce a great Beyer either with the the King's Bishop going so fast. However, Pharaoh showed grit today turning back Frosted. Similar to Seattle Slew beating back Affirmed only to be defeated by Exceller.
We won't see him till the Classic, i bet.

Should beholder beat him in the Classic, does he still get HOTY?

I think I'm more impressed with AP after today. Didnt have his A game and still put a great horse away.

I almost feel like Pharoah got tagteamed there. I thought it was strange Frosted came out so hard from the beginning; I thought he was more a come from behind horse. Taking Pharoah into the rail was not going to win it for Frosted. It's a shame AP had to go down like that. His tank seemed empty, he got taken into the rail, and he almost still won.

Didn't get those five claimer fractions he got in the Belmont. Gets some real fractions and voila he goes down.

I am sad for 2 reasons.

1. He's so damn good for the sport.

2. I gave quite a few people keen ice but didn't place a single bet today :(

I agree and he did it while pinned down on the rail which has been very tiring all meet long. He just didn't have enough to re rally against Keen ice. I imagine they will train up to bcc.

Bingo

The first time he's had to work in a race. They have let him do what ever he wanted(fishy as hell), even speed horses let him set lame fractions.

Finally he had to work, and poof beat by an average 3 year old.
