Do you guys use anything other than mlb.tv for watching out of market games. I mostly only watch Atl Braves games and didn't know if there was a cheaper way than going through mlb. I dont have cable or satelite.

Other than illegal streams that aren't reliable at all, nope.
MLB.TV offers where you only get streams for one team for $20 less. But, you may as well pay the whole $150 to get every out of market game. It's a hell of deal for the most in-depth league streaming service.
I love it.

Its the best deal going if you are an MLB fan. They have seemed to correct most bugs that were around in the beginning years of the service

Yep, and this year they’re including MiLB(minor leagues). For baseball obsessed people like myself, it’s an incredible deal.

That's how I've had access to it. I don't feel bad if I watch only five games a year and it cost nothing extra.

MLB tv is the best deal by far. do NOT buy it through Amazon, it cuts out multiple features. Get the MLB.TV app on your firestick or whatever you connect through and buy it through there/online

I want to do this for Astros games as I no longer have cable and dont want to pay an extra $50 a month for Fobo just because they get ATTSportsnet. The blackout rules will frick me but I know there is a way around it. Can yall walk me through how easy it is?

I got my renewal email yesterday and they announced that in 2023 they are adding Minor Leagues.
quote:
Included for 2023: Minor League Baseball For 2023, we’re bringing you more live baseball than ever before, with access to Minor League Baseball (MiLB) included as part of your MLB.TV subscription. MLB.TV subscribers can watch more than 7,000 streamed games for affiliates of all 30 MLB Clubs, including all 60 Triple-A and Double-A Clubs, plus home games from more than 40 additional Clubs and select postseason games through the First Pitch app along with select games from your favorite team’s affiliates in the MLB apps (check device availability here). To access MiLB games on the First Pitch app, click here. You will need to create a MiLB username and password in-order to watch on the First Pitch app.

I hope they don’t wait too long to discount it. I got it for like $75 last year.

Someone will mention use a VPN. That is pretty easy. But I haven’t had success using a VPN on mlb.tv for a couple of seasons now, so either they wised up and started blocking VPNs or the one I use (IPVanish) just doesn’t work with it.

The MLB site won't let you access any games if you have an active VPN. They aren't idiots

False. I watched every blacked out game last year on MLB.tv using a VPN. You just have to bounce around from location to location until you find one that‘s not blocked. Takes some cache clearing and logging in/out but it always worked.

I am a Cub fan and have been getting MLB the last 5 years.
Just cut the cable as Marquee network that shows all Cub games is on Fubo, so I got that. It has the network that shows the Astros too as well as Bally for the Pels.
I would see if one of the available streaming services shows the Network the Braves are on.
