I like bowl games. Don't even care how many there are

Its football around Christmas and most of the smaller games end up being very good games to watch

Let them play. I will watch

I'd prefer 6-6 bowl games over the shitty threads you start.

There's really no downside. You're not forced to watch the bowl if you think both teams suck and if you just enjoy watching any football game, there are plenty to choose from. I'll never understand why people on this board get so mad about bowls.

They're exhibition games, who cares. Let 'em play.

I prefer the era when going to a bowl game meant something. It was a good measuring stick for a season and the health of your program. And it was a much bigger thing for mid-range programs.

When was this mythical time that bowls meant something more and weren't little more than a way for cities to get tourists during the winter months?

Yeah back in the good old days when the final rankings came out before the bowl games that meant so much were even played.

I don't mind them (and not just because we're 6-6 this year ) but I genuinely enjoy them because of the matchups you wouldn't normally see.

It makes sense that most teams don't go out of their region for OCC teams (we've almost always played UNC, NC State or ECU for the better part of a decade and will do so for the next few years), and so the opportunities to play Miami, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, etc. are actually exciting to me regardless of record/

No one's ever going to mistake the Meineke Car Care Bowl for the Sugar Bowl, man. Let'em play. Gives me something to watch during a dead period before the big bowls start.

Nice of you finally admit that TCU has a very small crappy fanbase.
