6-6 teams do not belong in bowls

There are too many bowls
As a fan of a 6-6 team we do not belong anywhere near a bowl. No way should we be rewarded for the product we put out there this season. What a disgrace.

The only teams who belong in bowls are the teams who are invited to bowls and who accept those invitations.

Players work hard...I wouldn't bitch about them being rewarded with an extra game.

The games don't change any things in the standings/rankings, so what's it to you who plays? If Popeyes invited Rutgers and Kansas to play in some bowl they created, they would, and it wouldn't effect you in damn near any way.

As a player I went to 3 bowl games... but we actually had good seasons.
Not sure I would think going 6-6 would be considered a good season and worthy of a bowl game. Honestly I would just want the season to end.

I've never understood the bitching about bowls. It's more football to watch when you're at a shitty Christmas party or gathering you don't wanna be at.
Plus the "crappy bowls" usually produce a handful of really good and exciting games.

Agree there are too many bowls but wouldnt exclude a team because of being 6-6.
Played in a bowl game at 6-4 and we finished 7-4. Great memory.
However if all you can find is a team that is 5-7 then just cancel the bowl.
