In the final five minutes with the game inside five points, Russell Westbrook was 4 of 14 for 18 points and a minus-13 with four turnovers.

It's not. He only had about 27 shots when he actually said that. Westbrook had 34 for the whole game

Beverley just looked up the total shots for the game before he told the story, which makes him look like a liar.

NO, it makes you look like a moron I'm sure Bev told him something like that and doubt he said the exact number at the time. His point was that the dude wasn't unstoppable, he was just shooting like crazy.

Holy shite. If that's true, that is the absolute ducking exclamation point on why I don't like Russ

Damn near every great player has said that numerous times throughout their career

I don't see how anyone can hate Beverly. I mean other than the people here who hate the Rockets.
I mean if Russ actually said that, and someone is going to hold his trash talking against him, then he/\!{ should probably not think too fondly of a player so upset that a fan talked trash that he went back to talk trash after a game.

And in the other 43? Shall we discuss?

All points are not created equal. They become more valuable as there's less time on the clock. He didn't get it done.

The 4th quarter was atrocious, but this is a lot of hand wringing over a 47, 11, and 9 with a +/- of +12. He also scored 20 in the 3rd (rockets scored 21 as a team).

Isn't that "fan" the future team owner? Did I hear that incorrectly? And repeatedly screaming frick you to a player, from the front row, should get you some flack. Bev was pretty tame in his response.

Do you not know that the NBA puts a multiplier on each point so that a point scored when there is less time on the clock is more valuable?

I think he's the son of a minority owner. I don't know much more about it.

Going back after the game is pretty weak, but I'm just saying that one should have a problem if he/she have a problem with Russ trash talking.

If not, then it's all good.

A missed shot in the third qtr gives you a whole qtr + to make up for it.

A missed shot in the last few minutes gives you much less time to make up for it.

Do you think a layup in the first qtr has as much impact on the outcome of the game as a shot on the last possession?

The 4th quarter of every game for Russ except the game they won, was straight donkey doo.

How in the world do we give this guy the MVP? How? Because he got a triple double every game on average? Just give it to Klay Thompson seeing as he is the most valuable player on the best team in basketball. Best defender at the 2 and an incredible offensive player. Obvious choice.

Don't take it. Don't do it.
