HOU didn't play anywhere near their best ball but they were the clear better squad in the fourth quarter. Russ and his teammates as mentioned in OP just didn't get it done w the game on the line.

I just honestly don't really care for Westbrook that much
I think he is a phenomenal talent, but he plays a brand of basketball that is all about getting mine. I think there are multiple players that could put up fantastic stats while playing on a poor team and not achieving results.

Like Dwyane wade said. Relationships matter. KD just didn't wanna play with him. And that sentiment is echoed around the league.
You listen to one interview saying Russ ran him outta town. The next interview zach Lowe talks to many NBA players and they all say they wouldn't wanna play with him.

It's not. He only had about 27 shots when he actually said that. Westbrook had 34 for the whole game
Beverley just looked up the total shots for the game before he told the story, which makes him look like a liar.

I think the feeling was in a large market it wouldn't matter.
The 2 guys I know who work for the Thunder told from the getgo KD's whole demeanor changed towards the team when he signed with Jay-Z.

Saying shite like "you can't guard me" is something pretty much every good basketball player says at one time or another. Y'all really using that as a reason to hate westbrook? I feel like there are a lot of reasons to dislike him, but trash talk is pretty weak.
