No games tonight but all teams are in action tomorrow.

LSU (1-8) hosts Texas A&M (3-6) at the PMAC tomorrow. LSU has lost eight straight games and had a real tough time with the Aggies in College Station earlier this season. Hopefully the Tigers have a better showing this time around.

Tulane (1-9) travels to take on East Carolina (2-8). Tulane has lost six straight games but ECU might be a winnable game for the Wave.

Louisiana Tech (7-3) stays at home to match up with Marshall (6-4). The Bulldogs look to make it two in a row and remain in at least a tie for second place in CUSA.

ULL (4-5) heads east to take on Georgia State (7-2). Cajuns can really help themselves out on this road trip as they face both Georgia schools who are both currently tied for first place in the Sun Belt. ULL looks for a better effort than when they were beat soundly at home by the Panthers earlier this season.

ULM (1-8) will also be in the Peach State as they take on Georgia Southern (7-2). ULM got their first conference win last game and would love to make it two in a row by pulling off an upset here.

Northwestern St (3-6) hosts Stephen F. Austin (6-4). The Demons look to snap a two game skid and get things going back in the right direction.

Southeastern (6-4) heads north the face Central Arkansas (4-6). Southeastern looks to string together wins and hold on to their third place spot in conference.

McNeese (4-6) makes the short trip from Lake Charles to Beaumont to take on Lamar (5-4). It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys can build on the momentum from their win last time out.

UNO (7-3) welcomes Nicholls (4-6) for one of two in state match ups this weekend. UNO looks to snap a two game losing skid, while Nicholls tries for a big win over a currently top two team in the Southland.

In the other in state match up we have Southern (5-4) squaring off with Grambling (5-4) in Baton Rouge. This should be a good one as both teams are tied for third in the SWAC. SU beat the Tigers in Grambling a month ago 87-79, but Grambling comes into this one winner of their last three games while the Jags have lost their previous two games.

Rough, rough weekend for state teams as they went a combined 3-9.

LSU lost at home to Texas A&M 73-85. This is LSU's ninth straight loss and drops them 1-9 in SEC. In other bad news Mizzou won so LSU is now tied for last place.

Louisiana Tech got a win at home against Marshall 94-90. The Bulldogs have now won two in a row and are in second place place by themselves in CUSA at 8-3.

ULL lost at Georgia State 82-85. This is two straight losses for the Cajuns now and three of their last four overall. They drop to 4-6 in Sun Belt play.

ULM couldn't make a streak as they went down at Georgia Southern 62-76. The Warhawks are now sitting at 1-9 in league play.

Northwestern St dropped a heart breaker at home against Stephen F. Austin falling 73-75 in OT. The Demons have now lost three straight and are 3-7 in conference.

Southeastern also lost a tough one falling 66-68 at Central Arkansas. The loss drops the Lions to 6-5 in league play.

McNeese lost on the road to Lamar 57-77. McNeese drops to 4-7 in conference.

In the other in state match up, Southern took down Grambling in Baton Rouge in a very close game 67-66. The Jags are now 6-4 in the SWAC while Grambling drops to 5-5.

Standings and RPIs have been updated in the OP.

Another rough night for schools in the OP as teams in action went 1-3 on the night.

ULL lost at Georgia Southern 70-74. Tough loss for the Cajuns as they had the lead multiple times in the second half and just weren't able to get it done. This loss drops the Cajuns to 4-7 in Sun Belt play.

ULM also took a loss in the state of Georgia as they went down 55-69 at Georgia State. This loss drops the Warhawks to 1-10 in league play.

Southern got a win at home over Jackson State 88-75. This win moves the Jags to 7-4 in the SWAC and they remain in solo third place.

Grambling traveled to Mississippi and lost at Alcorn State 65-75. This loss drops the Tigers to 5-6 in league play and puts them in a tie for fifth in conference.

The only team in action last night was LSU as they went down at Kentucky 85-92. It was a better performance from the Tigers than what we've seen lately but still not enough. This is LSU's tenth straight loss and drops them to 1-10 in SEC play.

Tonight there are two teams in action.

Tulane (1-10) travels to take on Houston (7-4). This is a rematch of game from two weeks ago in New Orleans which Houston won 65-51. Tulane has lost seven straight coming into this game and looks to find a way to get back in the win column.

The other game tonight takes place in Hammond where Southeastern (6-5) hosts Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (5-5). The Lions have hit a rough patch lately having lost three of their last four. They look to get a win and remain in the top half of the Southland standings.

In Lake Charles, we have an in state match up as McNeese (4-7) hosts UNO (8-3). The Privateers looks to remain in at least a tie for first place as the Cowboys look to pull an upset over a top conference foe.

Northwestern St (3-7) takes on Houston Baptist (5-6) in Natchitoches. The Demons look to get a win as they enter tonight on a three game losing streak.

It's kind of surprising. I mean I didn't expect them to be great or anything, but 4-20 is rough.

No games tonight, but all schools except Tulane are in action tomorrow.

LSU (1-10) welcomes Arkansas (6-5) to the PMAC. LSU is looking to build off of a better effort last time out and end their current ten game losing streak.

Louisiana Tech (9-3) stays on the road to match up with UTSA (6-5). The Bulldogs have won three in a row and look to remain in solo second place with another victory this weekend.

ULL (4-7) returns to the Cajundome to play Troy (4-6). The Cajuns have lost three in a row and look to turn things around on their home court.

ULM (1-10) is also returning to Fant-Ewing as they welcome South Alabama (4-6). The Warhawks have lost their last two since getting their first conference win.

McNeese (4-8) hosts Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (6-5). The Cowboys could use a win as they've lost two straight and five of their last six overall.

Northwestern St (3-8) heads west to take on Abilene Christian (4-8). The Demons look to break out of a four game losing streak.

Nicholls (4-7) travel north to square off with Central Arkansas (6-6). The Colonels could use a win as they've lost two straight and four of their last five overall.

In state we have Southeastern (6-6) hosting UNO (9-3). Southeastern looks to get back over .500 as the Lions have lost four of their last five. UNO looks to remain in first place in conference and pick up their third straight win.

Southern (7-4) travels to face Arkansas - Pine Bluff (5-6). The Jags look to continue playing good ball as they have won two straight and five of their last seven overall.

Grambling (5-6) hosts Texas Southern (9-1). This is a tough match up for the Tigers as Texas Southern is the current leader in the SWAC.

Good luck to all teams this weekend.

Louisiana Tech got one of the two wins this weekend as they got a road win over UTSA 72-66. The Bulldogs have won four in a row and are now 10-3 in CUSA play.

ULL refused to play defense, kind of, again as they lost at home to Troy 88-100. Troy got to the the line 50 times and went 40-50 from the stripe. The Cajuns have now lost four in a row as the loss drops them to 4-8 in Sun Belt play.

ULM also fell at home as they were defeated by South Alabama 63-66. The loss drops the Warhawks to 1-11 in conference play.

Northwestern St lost on the road at Abilene Christian 72-76. This is the fifth straight loss for the Demons as they fall to 3-9 in conference.

Nicholls also suffered a road loss falling to Central Arkansas 83-106. This is the third straight loss for the Colonels as they drop to 4-8 in league play.

UNO got the other win for a state school as they beat Southeastern in Hammond 60-52. The win puts the Privateers at 10-3 and first place in the Southland. The Lions drop below .500 and are now 6-7.

Southern lost to Arkansas - Pine Bluff 61-68. The loss drops the Jags to 7-5 in league play but they stay in third place position in the SWAC.

Grambling lost at home to Texas Southern 70-77. The loss drops the Tigers to 5-7 in conference play.

The only way for Louisiana to be represented in the post season will be for someone to win a Conference tournament?

Correct

I think UL-L has a shot to win the SBC tournament.

LaTech has a tough draw this year - the CUSA tournament is in Birmingham again - That is criminal and gives UAB a huge advantage

UNO maybe???

Postseason, as in NCAA's? Yes.

If you include NIT, regular season champions are guaranteed NIT bids. UNO could win the SLC regular season and lose in the conference tourney but still go to the NIT.

ULM lost a tough one at home as they went down in OT 72-73 versus Troy. The Warhawks can't catch a break and the loss drops them to 1-12 in conference.

Southern got a a road win over Mississippi Valley St 81-72. The Jags are now 8-5 in the SWAC and are in third place.

Grambling snapped a three game losing streak as they took down Prairie View A&M 61-58. The Tigers improve to 6-7 in league play.

Southern will make a run in the SWAC tourney if they get any help outside of their big 3.

The only team in action last night was LSU as they lost at Ole Miss 76-96. The Tigers actually played well for about the first 30 minutes and then fell apart at the end. The loss drops LSU to 1-12 in SEC play.

The only team in action tonight is Tulane (1-11) as they travel to face SMU (12-1). This is a very tough match up for Tulane as SMU comes in on an eight game winning streak and is currently in first place in the AAC.

In the only game last night, Tulane lost a tough one against SMU 75-80. Tulane actually had a 15 point lead at halftime but were unable to hold on for the win. The loss is their ninth straight and drops them to 1-12 in AAC play.

Tonight there are four games involving five teams from the OP and all of them take place in Louisiana.

Louisiana Tech (10-3) hosts FAU (4-8) in Ruston. The Bulldogs look to extend a four game winning streak and move closer to that first place spot in CUSA.

Nicholls (4-8) faces Central Arkansas (7-6) in Thibodaux. Nicholls could use a win as they come into tonight on a three game losing streak.

McNeese (4-9) welcomes Abilene Christian (5-8) to Lake Charles. McNeese could also use a win as they have also lost their last three games.

Northwestern St (3-9) matches up against Southeastern (6-7) in Natchitoches. The Demons look to break out of a five game slump while the Lions look to break their own three game skid and get back to .500 in Southland play.
