pathetic year for MCBB in Louisiana.

Early on I thought the Cajuns, Bulldogs, and Privateers could all make it. The Cajuns fell into a slump out of nowhere in the middle of the season that made their road pretty tough. Up until yesterday I thought Tech may have still been the States best shot, but not much you can do when a team is as hot as Marshall was, 19 3's FFS. Hopefully UNO can get in and make some noise.

Before the year everyone thought the Cajuns would really struggle this year. Next year was always supposed to be the year with a couple of transfers sitting out this year. It'll suck losing Jay Wright but everybody else is coming back

Next year is the year Hendo. Should be the best Cajuns team since the team that lost to Louisville in 2004.

Guess I'm going to have to see how good the transfers are before buying that.

Did you go to the scrimmage in Blackham to start the season? The transfers and mostly freshmen beat the shite out starters.

No, I didn't make it to watch. I heard they looked really good. We're going to need to find a point guard.

Yeah. Will be interesting to see how the kid from Mizzou fits and the development of K. Evans

ETA: mixed that up. Thought the PG coming in was from Mizzou.

The transfers for the sake of this thread:

Marcus Stroman (South Carolina) - 6' Guard
Malik Marquetti (Southern Cal) - 6'6 Guard
JaKeenan Gant (Mizzou) - 6'8 Forward
