Expecting randle to be a 3 in the nba is a huge stretch, especially defensively

I'd be shocked if Kobe gets a new max contract, but I would be at least a little surprised if he retired after this year.

hes going to be a whole defensively anywhere to be honest. hell play down low because it would be easier to hide him defensively, but i think we are trying to get him to a point where he can move out there in situations

All suggests LMA either struggling with the decision -- which gives Blazers fresh hope -- or that he's reveling in this un-Spurs-ian process

2017 is loaded though. Westbrook, Ibaka, Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, Steph Curry...

And fricking Draymond Green got a bigger second contract than Steph Curry. Pretty unbelievable.

I was just thinking how mark jackson not fully utilizing steph on offense screwed him over with that contract. Did the warriors a solid and allowed them to keep this team together.

Wouldn't he have had a bigger contract if not for the ankle injury though?

Steph's contract was pretty fair though at the time given his ankle problems and his production. He was a solid player early on, but he pretty much pulled a reverse NFL and immediately started playing WAY above his contract as soon as he signed his extension.

It is pretty crazy that he will be the 6th highest paid warrior this coming season and 4th highest the next season.

I know how it happened, but it still is going to be a tough situation in 2017. They need to be ready to spend a lot of money.

Free agent center Robin Lopez discussing deal with Knicks that would earn him in range of $12M-$13M per season, league sources tell Yahoo.
Nice week for the Lopez twins

I'm a fan of Robin Lopez. Dude is not close to as skilled as Brook, but he's discovered how to make himself valuable in the NBA.

LMA is playing around at this point. He might as well go back to Portland and take the money.

If this last another day, he's not going to San Antonio.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd guess he stays in Portland.

It's really starting to get that feel. With that said, watch him agree to the spurs offer after all of this

Free agency is tough to guess. If I was a big time free agent, I'd purposely be leaking bullshite.

But ESPN sources say Dallas is Wes Matthews' preferred destination -- over both Kings and Raptors -- and that Mavs are favorites to land him

Curry got that deal because of the problems he had with his ankles, but those are clearly gone now
