Right, I know they basically got the same, but that 90 number is a lot easier on the eyes They both deserve what they got though.

Also, one more I forgot. There's no way I could be an NBA player because there is no chance in hell you could get me to sit in a meeting for 2 hours as a free agent If you could keep the meeting to 30 minutes, you would instantly go up my list

Well he admitted he was wrong in a tweet after HOU blasted LAC. Props to him for that.

Also, I think it's more of his ill will towards Morey that caused him to tweet that stuff. I'm sure he would love to have guys like Beverley, Harden and Howard on his team, and the already-Mav Parsons.

But if we get DeAndre and Matthews/Green, I just don't think Beverley is a fit there. How good of a passer is Beverley? I know he averaged under 3.5 APG but Harden mostly has the ball

I don't think they actually dislike each other at all.

It's not one of his strengths. He's pretty much a spot up shooter on offense and he has a decent floater IF he can get into the lane.

That's what I thought. Would rather a cheaper option at PG then if we do in fact get DAJ and one of 3-and-D guys

Does that mean he has agreed to that or is that just their offer? I would highly doubt he turns that away though and might piss of Wade a little bit

Seems like an easy choice if they're both offering the same

Whoa. My man @Chris_Broussard just reported Orlando has offered Paul Millsap four-year, $80 mil max to give Hawks something to worry about

Forgot which of the many NBA podcasts I have recently listened to said this, but the guys were saying that they were certain Milsap would be a steal for someone at ~$10m/yr. Dude's gonna make bank. Good for him.

They were pretty dumb for believing that, but still 20 mil a year for Milsap? Damn.

Good for him, not sure why he signed such a small deal last time he was a free agent.

Same reason why Leonard's was the same amount as Butler

Derrick Rose Rule

quote:

A Designated Player may be eligible to earn 30% of the salary cap (rather than the standard 25%) if he passes certain criteria. To be eligible, the player must be voted to start in two All-Star Games, or be named to an All-NBA Team twice (at any level), or be named MVP. Officially titled the "5th Year 30% Max Criteria"
