I mean, Aminu is a nice player. He does a few things well. But he's not a $30M player. Most seemed to think it was reasonable for the Pels to use the MLE to get him.
I think that Carlisle utilized him a little bit better, so that's why Mavs fans like him more.
Don't get me wrong, I loved watching Aminu play, but that was more for his incredible ability to turn the ball over in ways I've never seen before. But we've already got Asik for that now

Tried him as a starter. Tried him off the bench. A SF, as a small PF.
He rebounded well and that was it.
His defense that gets touted almost never showed in New Orleans. Rookie Anthony Davis was forced to guard small forwards at times when Aminu was getting torched.

This. LeBron the agent is going to tell LeBron the GM to give his client and teammate a 15 mil a year contract.
If the Cavs have their way, they are going to give max/near max deals to 3 guys logging minutes at PF.
