I just want Shaq and Jordan on the same team.

Shaq doesn't get huge props in the all-time player debates, but he's incredibly popular in these all-time team deals, mainly because he is available at a discount to the big 3 centers.

Isiah ($3)
Jordan ($5)
Bird ($4)
Dirk ($2)
Hakeem ($4)

Lockdown Perimeter Defense in Isiah, Jordan, Bird.
Great Passing guard and big man in Isiah and Bird.
Deadeye shooters/floor spacers in Bird and Dirk
GOAT in Jordan
Rim protector and post dynamo in Hakeem
Most of all, I have unquestioned, stone-cold killers at every spot.

3- Paul
5- Jordan
4- Bird
2- Garnett
4- Russell

Garnett's criminally undervalued at 2. I personally don't think there's much of a difference between him and Duncan as a player.

You're probably right. At the very least he provides some of the most value, but if I can get Barkley for $3 I'm still interested. I think Duncan provides the least value, but he's universally considered the best PF to play the game, so...

PG - Stockton (3)
SG - Kobe (4)
SF - LeBron (5)
PF - Dirk (2)
C - Hakeem (4)

I get the selfless passer and ability to set up shots with Stockton.

I get the alpha obsessed with winning in Kobe.

I get the absurd physical freak in LeBron who can win games solely on athleticism.

I get a PF who can play inside, rebound and shoot 3s in Dirk.

I get an all time defender who can rebound and dunk in Hakeem.

I don't like being the last post on the page

I get two really good facilitating players in Stockton and James.

Kobe brings the killer instinct and elite scoring.

James and Dirk can work the paint.

Hakeem can be a monster down low defensively.

ETA: Feral, great minds...

I like it, but I'm starting to reconsider Wade and LeBron on the same team since I think I can get better spacing with other alternatives.

I'll say this, it is pretty damn incredible how many of the all-time greats on this list played on the same team. By and large, unless you're Tim Duncan, you're not winning a championship in the last 40 years without at least two guys on this list on your team.

Isiah 3
West 4
Bird 4
Moses 3
Russell 4

I can outscore you. I will outrebound you. I have the best defender.
isiah and west and bird are multi dimensional.

I find it amusing that Moses, who once won an NBA championship with a .500 houston team when he was getting 20 20 games, is just 3.

Bird and West were better shooters than your guys.

Moses and Russell will control the boards.

all fierce competitors.

I disagree with the values assigned, but this is how you're supposed to play I guess.

I was thinking with more players but that works too.

This is what I got with those rules:

Jordan
Pippen
Barkley

When you're building all time teams, your team is usually filled with ball hogs. Stockton eases that problem and usually comes at a cheaper price in these type of games.

It seems Centers are being criminally underrated in this thread too. I guess that the Warriors effect.

I focused on getting 2 5's on the court and having a good mixture of inside and outside players. Tons of scoring. lots of rebounding. 2 athletic big men and Michael Jordan whats not to like?

Dirk gives the team a big to stretch the floor and a great shooter, and his lack of defense is easily compensated for by Hakeem, Pip and Jordan. This is also a fantastic rebounding squad as every position can pull down 10+ boards on a given night.
