TSLA

It's going to be amazing what they are doing 25 years from now.

Not to mention that Disney is a pretty big conglomerate. Many people don't realize how many pies it has a finger stuck in.

I'd love to bookmark this and see how everyone did 25 years from now. But I'm betting TSLA would be the one to make you broke in.

There's only so much room for technology growth in batteries and its damn near tapped out right now.

If it were I and I could only choose one then it's KO.

You serious Clark?

I'm no battery aficionado, but compared to the kind of technology we see today, our batteries suck .

And thinking Tesla is only a battery company is foolish I think.

Back on topic, I'd probably say Amazon or Google. They will run the world in 25 years.

That's my point, batteries suck and there's not much more run for their technology to expand. And TSLA relies on batteries. Give this a listen and you'll change your mind LINK

If you had purchased $10,000 of DIS stock on this date in 1990, it'd be worth $145,675.54 today.

I don't want this to turn into a TSLA argument thread, but Elon Musk is a remarkable mind, and I think it's shortsighted to think they are inhibited by one component.

Disney is going to have to adapt well to the changing media climate. I think they will, but it's a big risk.

BRK is not a good pick. WB will die in a few years and without the stupid deals that people give BRK just to have his name on it, they will start sucking.

I like the AMZN pick.

My pick would be AIG. It is the only stock I can see outperforming over the course of 25 years. They are absolutely critical to the financial world and once the 2009 crash fades away from memory, they will be blowing and going again.

Spot on, could call. I definitely second the BRK call too, just didn't wanna admit it on this board as I know a lot of people worship BRK.

Sbux.

Lots of good answers here, it's reassuring that most of the stocks major holdings in my portfolio.

Edit- appl is my largest position but I wouldn't want it for 25 years, not even close. 15 years ago Microsoft was more valuable than Apple is now and they seemed to rule the world, and look what happened. No way could I rely on a tech stock to stay on top for so long.

Clearly you haven't listened to that podcast because we essentially have no room to grow in batteries.

You mean the company that will go down the toilet when Buffett kicks the bucket?

I don't think it will go down the toilet, I just don't see them continuing the same growth that they've had.
