Holy shite, that is terrible.

He was a solid MT contributor. I enjoyed [most of] his posts

Oh damn, a FB friend of mine posted an obituary of someone early this morning. I didn't pay much attention. Turns out, this must be the same person

I debated whether or not to post this here. I'm glad I did as his family needs the prayers from those who do pray. And good thoughts I'm sure are appreciated as well.

Like I said I don't know him but my husband knows his family so thank you all.

Can ya'll post his name here publicly or privately if you aren't comfortable with that. I actually think I would like to go to the funeral if it's open to the public. He was a good guy.

In addition to his quality posts on the MT, he also was one of the more reasonable (there are a few, not many) posters on the politics board.

Very sad. Using what has been posted on his thread, I found his obit and nothing was mentioned as to cause of death. Gosh, I hope it wasn't something violent or painful.

Life is fleeting, y'all.

This is a punch in the gut. I never met him face to face but I felt like I've known him. I'm sick over this.

Flask and I exchanged many emails over the years including trading Excel spreadsheets for tracking financial transactions. He asked my advice on some career matters just last year.

Would you mind telling me where you saw the obituary? I've searched the Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Lake Charles newspapers. Thanks.

ETA: Never mind. I found his obit on the O-T thread.

Ok I can't go to Geuydan for a funeral so I'll say it here. This dude was accomplished and a great poster. I breeze through a lot of posters posts but not his.
