I’m wondering if the size of my pull is resulting in the failure. I have 19K transactions…

Monarch currently showing my investments worth $39M. I can assure you that is not a correct figure

How did you do this?

ETA, nevermind, I figured it out.. This sucks. I have over 10 years of data on mint. Not sure where I want to go from here. I dont really use it for the budget tracking anymore, but I like to see all my financial data in one place.

If you're truly only wanting a transaction dump, RocketMoney does that for free.

What is this “request all data” versus just downloading CSVs?

I'm interested in what else as well. It's not usable for uploading like the exported csv transactions.

10k limit. I had to put date parameters to limit.

Congrats!

10K limit solved it. Albeit, the coding of all transactions is coming in as a custom category and isn’t linked to the existing Monarch categories.

Ya, once you change one of your custom categories to one of theirs, a pop up will ask you if you want to create a rule, which takes some of the work out of it.

I could see I got a little wild with custom categories so it wasn't a huge deal.

The one to watch out for is investment transactions being categorized as an "expense."

I just made all mine a "Transfer" under their category.

Absolutely. I had income being classified as expenses and transfers set as expenses. A few corrections and the cash flow portion looks great!

Been using Mint for a LONG time.

I switched to Simplifi, and I already like it better than Mint in many respects.

The lack of investment stuff isn't important to me.

Lack of investment trends is going to eventually push me to utilize Empower. I had already used it in the past because Mint frustrated me at how inept it was on all things investment related.

If Monarch builds empower level investment tracking and analyzers then it will control the market.

In case anyone missed it, Monarch is offering 50% off the subscription for the first year, even if you already started the trial.

Go to settings - scroll down to billing - click manage subscription and drop MINT50 into the promo code box and it will reprice your first year.

Amazing, thanks…had not seen this.

Last night I was able to move my net worth aggregate history over. I chose not to do it by account as it is way more tedious than I care for. I found a Reddit thread with a great step by step tutorial after downloading CSV from the Mint Trends menu.

I’ve still got some connection issues that Help hasn’t solved; otherwise, I have it close to fully functioning. Interface is growing on me and knowing they are committed to make feature enhancements is promising.

The budgeting forecast capabilities are interesting…you can only see on web view but Mint didn’t have that kind of solution. Also only on web…the savings rate tile for cash flow view is a nice reference point.

I’m trialing both Simplifi and Monarch currently (after quickly deciding that YNAB was not for me). One thing I’m looking for over the next month is whether any improvements will be made (or workarounds shared) regarding Mint csv import into Simplifi. As it stands, the import function would be less than worthless if none of the category information follows.

Can you link this? Right now my net worth is only this month when I started. Thanks

Here you go: LINK

I think this works for any manual account if you don’t want generic assets and liabilities back history.

Monarch rolled out improved Category mapping for Mint transaction rollover in a last few days. I just dealt with recoding then all manually to the right category (and deleted most Mint coding since it duped a Monarch category).

Public Portal of next enhancements is legit. LINK

This is also a good way to track the improvements that are rolling out now.

Just "finished" messing with this. I had forgotten how a few times Mint double counted an asset or a liability over the years, or how I deleted my last house and it removed historical values, etc.

Basically went in there and massaged the data a little bit to make it less wonky.

How well is Monarch handling split transactions? If I remember correctly Mint exported them as multiple transactions instead of one. Guess it doesn’t matter that much as long as the total spent and total spent by category add up correctly

I saw that mint only has 3million active users. This surprises me but I guess intuit just hasn’t put any funding towards bringing in new customers.

I don’t use that feature so can’t speak to it. It seems like a pretty commonly used one on the message boards. If I go to Costco, I just apply it all to groceries even if there are durables.
