Finally enough to make me close my chase checking. if they're trying to gain business this is the wrong way to go about it.

Keep your money in your local region and use a local or regional bank.

Banks are in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

So... that's why I've been getting failures to update.

Damn you, Chase.

It has been going on for weeks, but I was hoping this would pass. May be time to move banks because I love Mint.

Yeah that is a disservice to customers to not allow a wildly popular site like Mint to allow users to login and capture transactions. I see the bank's views from a liability standpoint somewhat. They should be more concerned with account numbers being compromised, though, and not so worried about how its customers view transactions.

Banks are more concerned with Mint centralizing all financial services. They have a great deal of information and access to customers.

I've wanted to use a service like Mint, but haven't been able to since I am mostly in international banks which Mint doesn't like up with.
I was hoping the trend would be for more banks to use them, not the opposite!

My Chase credit cards are still, as of right now, updating properly.

Mine too

Not to mention mint shows me about 15 chase ads every time I change pages

Mint is good advertising and even recommends cards for people's habits

For mine I have to hit refresh twice for it to work sometimes but that's all of 30 seconds out of my life

Looks like it Chase backed down, at least for now... my accounts all updated as of this morning.

My Chase accounts haven't been automatically updating, so maybe this is why. I have to go in and refresh them a couple times, but they're still pulling in data.

Screw Chase if they actually go through with this. I love Mint.
