how much effort is everyone putting in for the isds 702 final?
Posted on 4/22/17 at 3:24 pm to wolfpack714
A good bit. Are you taking it on the 29th? I wonder how many questions are going to be from last week and this week info?

I think the practice exams are a good indicator. I only need a 65ish on the final to keep my A so I may ease up a bit in preparation for the next session as I am doubling up.

Those who've taken Dr. James, did y'all use Proctorio?

Wolf, I think I may slack off some also, seems like we are in same boat. Does anyone think he will open the test early? I know on moodle he has from 5am Saturday the 29th to 11:59 Sunday the 30th, but I was under the impression that the last week of the class always had to end on the Saturday night at midnight. Hopefully he opens it up early instead of everyone trying to cram and get it in on Saturday.

Is proctorio used in Econ 705 or ISDS 705?

Is proctoring used for Dr. Knotts exams in MADM 752?
Posted on 4/24/17 at 10:16 pm to MBAStudent
Thank god this is the last week of ECON 705. These last 3 weeks have been hell. Luckily i did good the first part of the class to get no less than an 81 but no higher than an 89.77 if i ace the final so I'm thinking about just crash and burning the final

Hey, everyone. Thanks for the very helpful forum. I plan on graduating at the end of the summer. Three classes left!
I have not used any of the proctoring services.
Has anyone taken MADM 752 with Dr. Knotts? If so, does she require a proctoring service?
The syllabus states that quizzes/tests are "subject" to proctoring.
The class looks interesting, but I have heard horror stories about ProctorU.
Finishing up ISDS 702 with Dr. Hayati this week. Great class with an engaged professor.
If you all have any specific questions for me in regards to class/professor choices, I will be glad to help.

I'm going to be taking MADM 752 with Knotts as well. I'm hoping there's no proctoring. Would like to avoid that headache.

The only class I have used proctoring in so far in MADM 701 but that was in Spring of last year. Not sure if they have changed since then.

I did think he would, he sent an email today confirming it would open Friday. He still says it will close Sunday night at 11:59PM, but I will take it Friday or Saturday to play it safe because everyone of my other classes the last week finished Saturday night

Has anyone taking MADM715 received a grade for their presentation yet?
Was hoping to get something soon so I know how much effort I need to put into studying for this final exam.

When you plan on taking it?

perry_g5:
I didn't have that particular teacher, but ACCT701 is cengage based, and is by far the easiest course I've taken so far in the program.
It's a couple of chapters per week of reading + online homework and a few online multiple choice tests all in the cengage platform.
The people that struggled in this class seemed to have issues understanding basic math concepts more than anything else (converting thousands to millions and rounding).
