Flew in/out of Liberia last year and spent a week in La Fortuna and papagayo area and never felt unsafe in all of our travels. Costa Rica is an incredible place....

Went from 2012-2016. Fantastic fest and ranks among the best and I’ve done a ton of them. Weather can be in the 40s or upper 90s, grounds can be super muddy or super dusty but if you prepare accordingly you will be fine either way. Try and arrive early so you don’t have to wait hours on the inters...
