Looking for ways to pay for my last two graduate courses

I have two courses left until I graduate with my Masters, each course is about $1500. The last thing I want to do is come out of pocket to pay for them but I also want to avoid taking out a loan. I currently owe $14K in student loans. I'm looking for some advice on what someone on the money talk board might do?
My financial situation is good. Me and my wife make good money, over 6 figures combined, no kids. I would just rather not spend $3K during the summer.

Can you pay for it with a credit card? If so you could apply for one with a 0% APR for 12 months and pay it off over the next year?

Apply for a scholarship?
I'm not sure what alternative you're looking for if you don't want to pay out of pocket or take out a loan.
At a 6 figure salary either are easily mangeable for you unless you're just downright careless with your money

Haven't thought about this. Thanks.

$3K in two 50% pops. Not too too hard to choke down depending on what you make and how much free time you have.

Which means adding to the loans would add 20% of the current principal balance. Not a terrible worst-case scenario. Let's use that as a Plan Z.

WTF?????????????????????????????????
You can't save $500/paycheck in a 100K+ combined annual income for the next 6 weeks to pay for the first one, and then do the same for the last one?
If that's the case, then you are in way, way, wayyyyy over your head with your bills and debts Brah.

I could manage paying for the courses....just looking for alternative options without coming out of pocket.

Me either, that's why I'm asking. Maybe there is something out there that I do not know about or haven't thought of.

If your financial situation is good, why are you online asking people how to pay for a $3K item? If you find it painful to pay all at once, most schools will charge a small fee to set up a payment plan & allow you to pay it in 3-4 increments.

I could, which might be what I will do but I am just searching for other options.

I'm not. The only real debt I have are my student loans and they are getting paid off by my job.I'm just frugal

Cash-flowing an entire semester in post-grad is being frugal bro. Wake up. If this is truly the case, you're going beyond the pale.

Add the $3k to your student loans. It is a rounding error. This is a non-issue honestly.

Unless he's got a $350k mortgage, a Benz for his wife, a decked out 3/4 ton truck, and eats at Galatories every night, that 3k should be easy to digest without a second thought about.
Especially considering the the 3k will add what, $20-30 a month the student, if that? Now yeah, if he extends that over 20 years, he will pay an extra 3-6 grand depending on his rate.

You seem to think taking a loan/getting a credit card doesn't mean that the money is coming out of your pocket. Are you serious?

Dude is all over the place about money. Not long ago was talking about custom ordering a truck on the OT. Here is a thread on the money board from 2 months ago about freeing up 2300 a month and no mention of 14k in student loans.

Your three options:
1) Pay for it out of your available money.
2) Get a loan/charge it/payment plan.
3) Find a way to get an extra 3,000 dollars or the equivalent.
#1 and #2 are pretty cut and dried. #3 has a whole universe of options ranging from "Get a scholarship/grant/TA position" to "Moonlight as a gigolo for the money" and everything in between.
And who knows? You might find you enjoy being a gigolo and being an educated one has to be worth more per hour, right? Probably have to pay your dues for a year or so taking the working class granny jobs, though while you build your rep.

I have and do none of that. I don't even have a credit card.

I didn't think about it because my job pays for the loans I have now and all but these two courses. I was just trying to avoid a 6% interest on student loans. No big deal, it seems the best route is to take out the loan, I'll just pay it off within the month.
To the poster below you, I dont want to come out of pocket all at once durinng vacation plans. I budget my money accordingly and out of the money I pull in I only give myself $900 a month to spend, everything else is invested or saved for future plans so I really don't see it. I did not expect to come out of pocket at all for these courses and was surprised. It really isn't as a big a deal as many of you are making it out to be, I'm just looking for the best way to do this.

Yes, and that money is invested and saved accordingly now. No mention of the student loans because my job pays for them yearly.

...is to pay for it out of pocket. If your summer vacay plans are crazy big, scale 'em back. Curtail your investing for a brief 2-3 months and PAY YOUR WAY. No, don't borrow it....pay your dang tuition. Eat beans for a couple months, skip the two weeks at the beach, and pay your tuition. Voila, no need to become a gigolo.
ETA: I hope you're not taking your last two MBA courses, or you've wasted your money all along, LOL.
