How many of you are working in a career field pertaining to your undergrad?

I'm one of those who is doing something that doesn't have anything to do with my undergrad. I enjoy it and make great money as well. I'm also in grad school for something different than my undergrad. The choices we make at 18.....

My degree has nothing to do with my career today. Nor did I have any career in mind when I went through college. I just went along with everything. I enjoy my career and I do well, but how I got here I haven't a clue.
Also, I'm much better off than some people I know who went to grad school and are still paying off huge student loans. Maybe selling your soul to chase a specific job isn't the way to go...

Work directly in my field that my degree is in. Granted, I'm only 25 so plenty of time to switch I guess.

Poultry Science undergrad, Ag Econ Master's.
I work in the ag commodities space so pretty much dead on for me.
Although initially I thought I was going to med school before other priorities took over.

Worked 7 years at a design firm and have been at a shipyard the last 3+. I think i will always do something related to the field. It was not my original college major. Wasted 3 years in pre-med.....

I just graduated with a Marketing degree. With that being said, I'm about to get into the Engineering sales field. Marketing and sales are pretty parallel, but I never thought it would possibly lead to a career in industrial automation.

This is exactly the career path I'm going! What device company did you represent? Medtronic? Stryker? S&N? Surprised you left medical sales to be a financial advisor though...
