Fair enough. I'd love to piggy back on you, but totally understand.

Glad to see you guys are all enamored with a POS scalper. They do nothing for anyone but themselves and take tickets out of fans hands that can't afford the greedy scalpers up charge. I hope more gets done to prevent it, it's a total scam. But hey, money.

I have never bought or sold tickets for product and haven't weighed the ethical side of it, as of yet.

But how is it any different than buying a product wholesale and selling at a markup? Or buying a stock, and selling at a higher price later?

Just curious, I have no dog in the fight.

You do realize the profits lie in the arbitrage right? The more the number of people doing it the lesser the arbitrage. I don't think anyone with any decent experience will share anything valuable on your thread.

Reselling tickets is pretty damn broad. There are many, many markets out there. I doubt vandy sharing more info would hurt him in the long run.

Anyone can buy stocks or products. Events have a finite # of tickets. These scalpers have systems to cheat the system. Why do you think you have to say "I'm not a robot" on ticket sites? They're whole premise is getting tickets before true fans can and them gouging them for it. I've been at the ready the second tickets come on sale for a hot event and can't get them or the only seats are shite. The minute they went on sale. Yet, look a few minutes later on the scalpers sites and you'll see plenty of tickets for that event at crazy prices. Now you've just priced out the fans.

This is in no way the same as buying and selling stocks or wholesale.

If he is making 5K a month from local markets, I doubt that it won't

Fair enough. I assumed he was simply paying face for what he assumed to be a popular ticket, waiting and letting demand increase, then selling his inventory.

You assumed right. Not robots or scripts here. Not worth it.

Sorry you weren't able to attend the Lady Gaga concert when it came to town, brah. Better luck next time.

A lot of times these sites don't actually have the tickets. They set a price and when someone buys them at said price, will go find them.
