Shakespeare was a poet.

Dude, you can go snack on tea and crumpets and read about gay dudes till your blue in the face.

It's not relevant to this at all.

Whoever brought up Hamlet needs to have his testosterone checked.

Glad I got what I wanted. I figured I'd have to threaten a lawsuit to get it though.

This is so much bullshite. I hope nobody believes you resolved this in half a day, while also already receiving the inspection report.

Shakespeare was a writer. Hamlet is a tragedy. Just like this thread.

To be fair, he also wrote a poem or two. So he was both a writer and a poet. Regardless....

Any arse hat lawyer with stationary could have done that.

They knew it was coming. Sorry to disappoint those that said it would end different.

Moving on.

Well, that didn't take long.

Buyers offered inspection report and forfeited deposit to prevent a lawsuit. They were scared.

I got what I wanted. So sorry to disappoint.
Suuuuuure you did. You've earned a ton of credibility in this thread, so I definitely believe you.

What you "wanted" was validation for strong-arming them into moving forward with the purchase. You got neither, and I'm glad.

Yes. He wrote more than just poems. So he's a writer.

My attorney is sending a demand letter first thing in the morning. I'd be more than happy to share the outcome of this. He thinks because they broke the contract, he can scare them into going forward.

That is convenient editing.

Yesterday he said his lawyer could scare them into going forward with the purchase of the home

You really are pathetic.

Should I tell buyers that I plan on going forward with a lawsuit if they back out of the sale in hopes that they go forward?

So you didn't get what you wanted. Your initially stated intent was to force them to move forward with the sale of the home. Your 2nd goal based on what you wrote about the penalties in the contract you so desperately interpreted literally was that you could get the deposit + 10%.

You failed. Twice. But you crawfished around page 7 or 8 or so. Which is probably when you heard back from Vinny while he was on break from Monster Joe's Truck & Tow and dispensing advice gleaned from his Bob Brooks online Notary course and the University of Phoenix Paralegal Course he printed a certificate in.

During said call-in between bites Vinny was taking out of his salami and capicola ham sammich-you were told asking for 10% of the purchase price (which is only mentioned because it was included in the Purchase Agreement you & Vin found on Legal Zoom when you first decided you wanted to become a "wheeler dealer" in the RE Biz) would get you laughed at and quite frankly, Vinny couldn't take off of work because he had to go pick up a station wagon double parked over off Choctaw that day anyway.

So he had to print out a threatening letter-again found on Legal Zoom-that had some fill-in-the-blank spots for your name and theirs and-after having to print it twice because some juice from the salami and capicola sammich dripped onto the first one, faxed or e-mailed it over and had some unsuspecting buyers who just so happen to be more ignorant than you cave.

Congrats on failing at life.

Why does it matter? Unlike where the deposit was secured, my profession is completely irrelevant.
