I spoke to Paul Dietzel on the phone once but soon realized he thought he was talking to someone else, so I transferred his call to the right person.

Best - went to reggies when they had a tent in the parking lot and had ufc fights. It was freezing outside. Just standing watching the fights and realized Jessie Daniels was the ripped dude next to us. Started talking to him, was cool as shite, showed us some videos on his phone of him fricking several white girls. He said he wasn't frickin black girls anymore. He actually saved our spot every time we went get beer.tried giving him drinks each time but didn't drink anything.

Worst - JJ
Playing ball in the pmac, we have the court til a certain time, bunch of other football players showed up and wanted to play. Harry Coleman said we could play til that time, they'd wait. So we are playing and JJ is shooting on one of the goals when we are on the other side. He did this a few times and then decided he wasn't moving anymore and continued to shoot while we were on that side. We told him to move, he ignored us. Coleman told him something, he told him to frick off and that he'd do what he wants, but finally got off the court so we could finish our game.
It was pretty obvious that most of the players there didn't care much for JJ, although they were mostly defensive players.
Side note, I played one game with the football players . Coleman's team beat us 12-1 in about 90 seconds. He hit 5 threes in a row, in peoples face and on pull up jumpers on fast breaks. Then said he wasn't going to beat us with just threes and drove to the goal next two times and scored. I had the only point for my team

Best:
-Having Mr. Greg (the equipment manager) introduce me to Jamarcus Russel and Early Doucet in there hotel room right before the 2006 game vs Florida (I was only like 12)
-Meeting Jacob Hester before one of our hs football pep rally's because one of my good friends/team mates is his brother in law
-Meeting Jarvis and Odell at Red Eye in New Orleans after the New Orleans bowl

Worst- what Jarvis did to us (Belle Chasse) vs Lutcher my junior year 2010/2011 season. We were winning 16-14 with 40 seconds left and he did this LINK

We were leaving Jl's in Tigerland about 18 months ago and some random girl was outside of Mikes by herself crying her eyes out. We walked over to make sure she was ok or to see if she needed a ride. As we are talking to her DByrd walks up (drunkenly stumbles over) and starts to console her. The girl was crying over a guy and DByrd begins to give her the plenty of fish in the sea speech. He told her something like "There are all kinds of fish out there: black fish, white fish, big fish and small fish... You see I am a black fish and you are a white fish. You are probably swimming in a different pond than I am but its ok. You will find the right white fish eventually." He was slurring his words and we could barely put his sentences together but it was pretty funny. He seemed like a nice guy every time I saw him out.

I had a few classes with Ronald Dupree but never really talked to him (I want to say it was electronics 2) I have a lot of respect for an athlete that chooses a tougher major like electrical engineering. Props to him.

Me too (although my classes with Dupree were Circuits 1, Digital Logic and Diff Eq).

I'll counter by saying one of my best experiences with LSU athletes was when Colt bought 500 shots for the entire bar. Since there were about 50 people there, we ended up having a merry ol' time.

I stand by my statement. Who the frick shows up at a MLB park to see Warren Morris. I was probably the only one out of 30,000 that even knew his name. No reason to act like that. And frick you

You stand by your statement of cleat chasing Warren Morris? And when he doesn't acknowledge you, you act like someone who got dumped: "You're a big meanie head, you suck at baseball because you won't sign my autograph"

Cooking jambalaya outside of Williams-Brice Stadium a few years ago, and a guy walks up and asks if he and his friend can buy some. My drunk arse says hell no, but you can have all you want. He introduced himself as Joe Albergamo. Of course it's Nacho. He spent about an hour hanging out and eating with us.

Also had Cresse, Morris, Russ Johnson take pictures with my sons. They were still in the minors at the time.

LSU Houston alums put out an email about a charity bowling tournament by Brandon Lafell, so we decided to go - good cause, LSU people, etc. Were the only car there, but went in anyway. (think 50 year old white people...).

We were the only people in the whole place, but they got us a lane and we got (several) beers and proceeded to bowl. Later on, Brandon Lafell and friends came along, including Danny McCray, and started bowling next to us, then asked us to join them. Very cool (McCray is huge!). None of us could bowl worth a shite, and I thought the back wall was gonna explode when McCray bowled.

Also met B Lafell's girlfriend, mom, and baby, and all were super super nice.

I lived in one of the dorm rooms in Tiger Stadium not far from where the Athletic Office was at the time. Jerry Stovall had just been fired, and some reporters were interviewing him outside the office on the ground. We were yelling out of our dorm room window "We love you anyway, Jerry!" He acknowledged us and gave us a wave.
