Go to Barrachina Restaurant, where the pina colada was invented. We went 5 years ago and it was really really good. I don't even usually like pina coladas.... The forts are all really cool too. We only had a day there before we boarded a cruise ship but San Juan was pretty cool....

re: Is a CFP necessary for young investors? - TheDirty1 on 3/31/15 at 6:52 pm
I think he means should he invest his money on his own or should he hire an advisor. I may be wrong but I don't think he has any intentions in taking the cfa test himself....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Excess Cash on Hand - Businesses - TheDirty1 on 3/11/15 at 2:18 pm
Sorry for the confusion. I obviously did not word the question well. How much cash does the average business keep relative to expenses. I guess it could be considered an emergency fund for a business. If a companies expenses are $100 a month and $200 is kept in cash they would have 2 months expenses...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

How much excess cash on hand would you say the average business has in its bank account. I know the answer to this question could vary greatly depending on the type of business, health of the business, etc. I am just curious to what everyones thoughts were....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4)
re: St. Paul and the Broken Bones - worth seeing live - TheDirty1 on 2/16/15 at 10:03 pm
I saw them in BR and completely agree. They sound great on a CD but its not even comparable to what they can do live. They sold out the Varsity and had it rocking all night. Hands down, one of the best shows I have ever seen....

Yea they killed it tonight. Best concert I've been to in a really really long time. It blows my mind that an individual can be as talented as their lead singer. If anyone has the opportunity to see them live, don't pass it up. Side note: You will probably get more hits on the music board. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Any insurance agents here? - TheDirty1 on 1/1/15 at 12:51 pm
Has anyone heard of a MSA (Marketing Service Agreement) in P&C insurance? This is something that is/was used by title insurance companies partnering with mortgage companies to give kickbacks for pushing home buyers to them. Kickbacks are illegal under insurance law but the way these deals were stru...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4)

While this is economical now, I am not sure it will be long term. Amazon purchases will eventually be taxed like everything else. Rather than costing you $1 for convenience it will cost $7-$10 depending on your local sales tax rate. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
Burton Smith has hinted at the possibility of doing at Bristol but no plans as of now.
Even then, a 300-500 lap race with 43 cars would absolutely abuse the race track. The track is going to start taking rubber late in this race (Look for a grey streak on the exits of the corners)...
