Why don't you asshats ever post the article in the OP so we don't have to give their website hits?

I believe that's against TD.com rules

That is about the only thing that is accurate. Then the tone and overall point of the article is just ridiculous and way off base. That's the problem. Go read my points on page 2 especially the last one if you haven't to get a sense of why this article and most of them are ridiculous

I don't understand the logic. Why would he deserve another chance elsewhere, but not at LSU?

ok, I did that...so on point 2....going to JAIL is the standard? I mean it would be hard to make the plane if you are locked up. Can they play in ankle trackers? I bet you could spat it up

And Dodd did mention kicking off RP, he actually hinted to the confusing standard.

Hill should've hit the bricks, but everyone knew he wouldn't, I hope he runs for 400 Saturday. Cause he aint in jail.

No but think of the consequences of kicking him off the team. You are kicking him out of school since he is there on athletic scholarship. I would not suggest to kick a regular student out of school if he plead guilty to simple assault (which probably happens a couple dozen times per year)

No one goes to jail for committing a misdemeanor while on probation for an unrelated misdemeanor...no one. The shocking thing about the Hill incident is that it was even considered, not that he ended up not having to go.

This - He could be basking in the LSU Purple and Gold fun - plenty to go around and hard to avoid. He is hating it.

i have to think that a lot of the writers taking the moral high ground, but specializing in being contrarian, are setting things up to turn the story around later in the year and write about how "the media" has blown the story up w/o detailing the facts of the cases in full.

I was mocking the no jail no kick off the team suggestion.

I don't care if he goes to jail or not, if he keeps thinking its funny to sucker punch idiots he will be there soon enough. I suppose I just hold folks to a not going to a judge for hitting a non threatening person standard that others dismiss.

Young and horny in situation #1.

Dumbass at a bar late night in situation #2.

I've been in situation #2, and #1, but never (thank god) with someone who turned out to be too young while I was in HS.

Don't fret fellas, it is simply our responsibility to make sure that we educate the ignorant west coasties who believe his foolishness. We just need to write comments about the article that will explain that Hill was merely guilty of getting a header from a sophomore who got off on giving headers to football players. The second offense, of coarse, is not excusable but once people understand that the first offense was not nearly as bad as Dodd would love them to believe.

Dodd is the very first so called professional analyst that I made sure to expose back in '02 when the whole question of the SEC's dominance was still in doubt. It was pretty tough back then since the board that I was on was ruled by West Coasties but I enjoyed fighting the good fight. I am a little ashamed to say that my board name was much more descriptive of my posts back then. I was a "Dick" to them because they were ust as bad as arguing with gumps. To them, the rose bowl was the only one that counted no matter what and USC's AP championship in '03 was the only one that counted even though I continuously blew that whole thing out of the water. I guess that over time they had no choice but to recognize that USC was the flash in the pan while our SEC was the juggernaut the whole time who is here to stay.

This till pisses Dodd off and his readers eat his crap up as fast as he can possibly spew it out. Now that LSU is poised to take Crystal this year he is just reaching for anything to rag us with.... obviously a weak minded jealous little biatch.

I don't pretend to know one way or the other, but was shocked by the comment on ESPN Radio earlier today that "if this was any regular student, they would have been expelled immediately, no questions asked."

There isn't even an attempt to research or corroborate stories these days. Right, SI ?!?
