Think if Hill were your son or -- worse -- the victim of that blow.
It was completely consensual, I wouldn't exactly call her a victim.

I could have gone either way with the Hill situation. I have no problem with him being reinstated but I wouldn't have had an issue with Les had he sent him packing.
I was pleased when Les said enough is enough with Mathieu. It had to be done for the sake of the program's credibility. Only time, and Hill's future demeanor, will tell if his second chance opportunity was a sound decision.

Wish Hill could punch Dodd in the side of the head somehow

There are Moral Nannies in our Sports Media that latch on to moral indiscretions and won't let go. These moralizers generally talk in black and white terms, skip over details that contradict their Narrative, and portray things in the most undetailed, simplistic terms. Add a few half-truths and the occasional lie, mix it with some spin and a little amnesia and you have Dennis Dodd.
When you saw it was Dennis Dodd, did you expect anything different?

The comments are pathetic.

the fans and the media made LSU this way.
Miles got wise and figured out that the only thing that matters is winning.
miles would get much more shite for losing games without hill than winning with him.

Few things:
1) the way he started the article by mockingly calling Hill a "victim". Who the hell has ever claimed that?
2) I continue to enjoy the moral high horse everyone gets on whenever a college athlete commits a crime. A crime that the criminal justice system decided didn't require any jail time
3) calling JJ a key to our SEC title after missing most of the season kills any credibility left in that article
4) no mention of throwing off RP. Also no credit given at all for dismissing a returning Heisman finalist
5) and why can't he play for LSU but can play somewhere else? So if you don't throw a kid off a team and punish him internally and let him back, you are in the wrong. But if you accept say a Michael Dyer who has been kicked off 2 teams you are letting this troubled youth have another chance??? And don't have the entire premise of your article be about that and then paint us in the wrong for giving Mett another chance after he got kicked off a team. So stupid

exactly. that was the most glaring inconsistency.

The way he's playing, Hill could run right past Aaron Murray, Todd Gurley and Mettenberger to become SEC Offensive Player of the Year. He is coming off a career-high 183 yards against Auburn. The man was, as they say, a hoss.

Miles kicked the best player in the country off of the team last year... if he doesn't do that we have a legit shot to win both florida and bama and route Notre Dame.
Miles kicked off the "big man on campus" Perrilloux and set us back so far at the QB position that we are just now recovering.
Don't tell me that Miles has no class or is only about winning.

I wonder how thrilled Dennis Dodd would be if someone were to investigate his background and attach a list of any legal problems he has had to every article he submits for publication. When was the last time you saw an article from a non-LSU source that did not mention his probation and parking lot altercation?
Enough is enough! Write about Hill's performance and stop the yellow journalism. Unfortunately it appears that once you become a hack there is no going back.
