OBJ also had to share catches with Landry... And Landry was the one with more receptions.

What's amazing is that we got those 2 guys at the same time - so similar, undersized, yet highly skilled playmakers with the will to win - the will to make that play and made it happen.

I've never seen 2 6'(ish), 200(ish) pound receivers play that big, whether extending plays on the side line, the endzone or taking interceptions away - I was sad for 2013 to end because of that show.

And we have a similarly gift WR corps right now, they just haven't come into their own, yet. With the QBs we have, we almost have too much elite WR talent (if that makes any sense).

What's your point? He's still in pass happy offense system. A kid with Down syndrome can have production in a system like that.

So much fail in this

1. There is no such thing as a jarvis/odell type. They are radically different.
2. Speedy is an Odell type, but only in that his physical talents are like Odell. He does not have Odell's charachter, though.
3. You are underrating Randle
4. At best Dupre will go about as high as Dupre come draft time.

Noil's stats are very similar to Odell's as a freshman and jarvis wasn't a factor as a freshman. Some of you just hate the kid because he went to A&M and tweeted some stuff.

Why is this directed at me? Go look up my post history on the recruiting board. Never hated on the kid at all until hearing about him lying to the LSU coaches. I was also comparing Quinn to Landry who didn't see the field much as a freshman, but really improved by leaps the next two years.

Take the glasses off, this kid can play. Who would you take over him that we have outside of dural? Dupre has a chance to be good but as of now he's just a deep threat.

I would take Dupre all day. Guy can bulk up to 205 and be a dominant WR. Noil so far is just a "throw me a short pass and I'll do the rest". Not hating the kid, just stating that Dupre fits perfectly for our offense and Noil fits perfectly for TAMU's.

Good for him. Dupre will be just as good.

Who gives a frick about character when comparing players? If his character issues are only tweeting and smoking pot then there are no chsracter issues

This is all I'm saying. Everything else you typed is irrelevant

So are you saying he's an average WR who's just a product of the system he's in?

White saw the ball, played it perfectly, Speedy just made a good play on a jump ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. For the most part, LSU handled Speedy very well. To say you wouldnt want to have him on our team would be a lie. To me his is more impressive than Trey Quinn at this point but I havent seen Texas A&M play more than a few times. Quinn has dropped a lot of balls and looks average at best. We ok at the receiver postions, QB is our problem.

Lol I like you. Thats not the point. I'll let you think about what I said for homework assignment. I'm done talking to a wall. It's clearly obvious that you must be a relative or have the want for Speedy.

I'm hoping that happens before he goes pro. Only downside of playing him this year is we lose that chance to bulk up. I don't think his frame can hold 215 or 220 (or at least not until he's in the NFL) but, you're right a 205 or 210 pound Chi will be quite the handful for the DBs in our league.

My dislike for him is not personal. It's truly in the context of football. I think that's fair.

He has the type of talent that you want at LSU but happy not to have on your team.

Unfair assessment on Dupre. He can run routes as well. But we never get to see underneath passes because Jennings can only throw the deep ball, and nothing underneath. As good as speedy is, I believe Dupre could be having a much better season than him if we had even an average QB throwing the ball.

I would bet everything I own that your posts about LSU players' past character-issue tweets and pot smoking were wildly different to your speedy noil arse-kissing in this thread.

Speedy has dropped more balls in one game then our guys have all year. Do not remember which game it was, earlier in the year. And do not even try to compare his situation vs LSU. Two different offenses. He IS a very good athlete and best of luck to him.
