Wat? Speedy should never be compared to those two. Not this early anyway. Coming out of high school Landry and Beckham were pretty polished.

I think Adams can be really good there as well as Chark or Miquel James.

but I disagree with your point about the passing game, as I think kids have long college careers, and if Harris steps up, we have a chance to look more like 2013.

I actually believe even better. With Diarse, Dupre and Quinn, we have a great nucleus for some shotgun 3 WR sets like we were in almost the whole game against UGA in 2013 . Also, did you see Jennings in the read option? Harris in that would be money.

Think 3 WR set, more shotgun, and misdirection in the run game. That is a truly dangerous offense and we have all the pieces for it.

vs UGA
Mett 22/37 372 yards 3 TDs
Landry 10 rec 156 yards 1 TD
Beckham 6 rec 118 yards
Boone 2 rec 52 yards 2 TDs

Oh and Hill had 4 for 44 yards for good measure.

I can see that offense with a read option/jet sweep run game working like gangbusters.

Looked to me like he pushed his face with an open hand but could have been just a friendly slap

Dupre is possibly the best pure athlete on our offense, dude. He can jump out of the gym. He is nothing like Randle.

Anyone who knows anything about football knows speedy made the right choice. He wouldn't have got nearly as many touches here as he does at A&M. Their offense is just a better fit for a guy like speedy.

Noil's stats are very similar to Odell's as a freshman and jarvis wasn't a factor as a freshman. Some of you just hate the kid because he went to A&M and tweeted some stuff.

Take the glasses off, this kid can play. Who would you take over him that we have outside of dural? Dupre has a chance to be good but as of now he's just a deep threat.

The kid will be an all American in the future if he stays healthy.

Speedy will have a great career at aTm, as long as he stays out of trouble. Dude can ball. Anyone on here who acts like they didn't/don't want him are kidding themselves.

I do agree that he has that 'me against Louisiana' attitude a la LC, but it's what he uses for his motivation. It's what other coaches are convincing these kids, so they believe it.

How is Speedy's blocking game? You know the scouts look for that attribute too. The scouts raved about OBJ and Landrys toughness and blocking.

As a WR - but he was a candidate for player of the game against Auburn that year -

I hated McCalebb - but he was so little, I thought Juice had killed him.

I think he's saying Speedy's stats are inflated because of a pass happy offense system compared to OBJs pro style background. OBJ also had to share catches with Landry... And Landry was the one with more receptions.

How many noticeable blocks have you seen Dupre or quinn make this year? Stop nitpicking and just give the kid credit where it's due that he's a helluva player

More interested in the speedy and LF interaction.

Speedy said multiple times he didn't want to play for Leonard fournette university.

We are talking about production as a freshman.
