To know when to look for the ball, so you don't lose track of the WR, they are trained to watch the WR's body language, hip position, and especially hand movements and eyes.

The really good WR's can disguise when they are getting ready to go from route to catch position, usually waiting until last minute. Speedy reacted a split second before White and the ball was right on them. Just good play by Speedy.

This. It's not like they both went up for it and speedy just out jumped him. White didn't even go up for some reason...he was turned around or whatever....

4. At best Dupre will go about as high as Dupre come draft time.

I'd bet Speedy is way higher.

Granted, I have no idea about the draft. it's a few years away.

Our secondary negated him most of the game. He did get 4 quick passes late. He was not that good.

Most of the jawing was between him and other New Orleans kids. It is expected.

Speedy's gonna be a solid player. But I'm very happy we ended up with Dupre and Quinn. I think they'll both become more complete WRs. Size route running and strong hands in a WR are a QBs best friend and they are gonna develop that chemistry with Harris over the next 2 + years and it will be a thing of beauty

I think people are putting too much into this he "hates" LSU stuff... Of course he has some animosity because alot of people felt the need to tell a 19 year old kid he was wrong and took personal a decision he made that affects his life but apparently he doesn't have that ill of feelings for LSU or the other N.O. players considering he posed it up with D. Alexander after the game...

yes, he will - as a prototype safety/linebacker - it will not be for his pass defense coverage - dude can't cover worth a shite - still there will be a place for him in the NFL.

With the way things played out, we should be thankful he didnt come here. We know we are a much better program so let it go. He has the next few years of dealing with our secondary and he will play on a team that will lose 5-6 games consistently. We beat their asses (again) on a "down" year.

Wilson backed off of Speedy last year due to attitude and other incidents. I'm very happy that turd is not at LSU. We are talking about a guy that was mad at his high school coach and fumbled on purpose to make him look bad. Do we really wish that guy was at LSU????

Thanks for not hammering me about that misprint. I meant to write that Dupre will go as high, or higher, than Noil. I still think so. Noil definitely has NFL talent, but Dupre's speed, leaping ability and catch radius will have the NFL salivating. He needs to bulk up, though.
