They won't come out flat. Jennings is going to tear Iowa a new arse hole.

You're not very good with math, in that case.

I have been thinking about this for a while.... I think they come out inspired... ESP the Offensive players that want to Impress the scouts.... Last year they DID NOT want to be in Atlanta.. They deserved better. But a new years day game will make a difference... Iowa is a good team but lacks overall team speed that LSU will come at them with.... IMO... LSU dominates..52-14 like..........

I think he's going to be a special one

I doubt it. Miles and his staff don't want the distinction of having 3 consecutive bowl losses since the '84 - '86 seasons (Arnsparger).

I say that they come out flat for sure. Game starts at Noon. How often has LSU ever come out fired up for a game this early?

I hope the start of the Jennings Era and the chance at another 10 win season will bring back the intensity that they had against Johnny Football...

Agreed...Can't wait to see AJ play 4 quarters with all the practice reps for the first time...

It's a glimpse into LSU's future, and to see if they'll be a QB competition in the spring should he struggle.

Lot's at stake in this game imo.

Calling bullshite on this...

With no disrespect towards ZMett, I think all of us and the team itself especially are eager to see what AJ can do.

We win 6-7 just by showing up,the remaining 5-6 require our full attention,we shite the bed in half of those ,therefore regularly applies......

Horse shite. Just because we lose a game doesn't automatically mean we came out flat. We were not flat for Georgia for instance orAlabama.

Yep, I agree.

This is pretty much an audition to see if he's the new clear LSU QB, or maybe the guy competing with Harris in the spring for most reps.

Lot's at stake here, especially for AJ/

The thing that concerns me about this team is the fans - everyone of us. Last year's bowl was too far beneath our dignity so nobody cared - and it was obvious from the get-go. The worst performers? The fans!

Man, I hate what you're saying but agree to an extent.

But I'm convinced this game, with AJ as the starter, is new territory for LSU and they'll respond as such.

We'll be flat as a pancake. No one is excited about Iowa, and we'll be lethargic. We still may win, but we could easily drop this one.
