I am optimistic that they will rally around Anthony and give a good effort.

Well, after losing 3 of the last 4 bowl games in miserable fashion, one would think it is time for an angry Tigahs to show up and dominate........maybe it is just me.

With low ticket sales and most eyes on recruiting, sure hope the team does not come out flat with that "we don't want to be here" feel. It would be great to come out swinging and punch these guys in the mouth and squash Iowa like a superior talented team should. A fourth consecutive 10 win season would be strong

You gotta remember that we were out of the BCS thing like a month before this week. The fact that we beat TAMU handily and fought to beat Arky, tells me that they want those 10 wins. See, last year, we got duped out of the Capital One bowl, then the Cotton Bowl and got pushed down to the chicken bowl when we were actually third in the SEC. We got shitted on last year but this year was on us. I believe they know that.

This team is going to do everything it can to win this game. They are going to do everything they can to make sure Jenning's 1st start will be a victory.

There is always that danger of LSU playing for flat for games under MIles. If there is any one thing that's consistent about LSU, it's the fact you can count on them coming out flat 75% of the the time in meaningless games.

This has not, and never will be, a valid argument. If you're too mentally weak to compete every time you play, you deserve every loss you get.

They might but shouldn't be.

Iowa is an SEC killer in bowls winning 3 of 4, including LSU and,

LSU has lost 3 of 4 bowls recently.

Last year many were thinking "Clemson ha ha, ACC pussies can't possibly run with LSU" and look what happened.

I don't think Iowa will be a pushover.

Here's a little Tid bit for the self important ranters, players generally don't give a shite what the majority of fans think. If they did they wouldn't win a game.

I'd love to see 10 win season. That's a good year to me. I have no idea if fan apathy translates to player apathy. I do think a name- brand opponent like Mich or Neb would be more exciting for the players.

Not as flat as last year. A lot more youth on the team this year. Not as many players eyeing the NFL, so they should be more focused and excited to play.

I think you might not understand the meaning of "regularly".

I don't think LSU was flat against Clemson. The offense just played like it did all year long and Clemson was the better teAm.
