against McNeese? IMO, with an anticipated big lead by the Tigers, Tre White should be resting in the 4th quarter with Donte manning his spot and also Donte getting a few jet sweeps early in the game. Also, when is the last time LSU had a player go both ways????

The question at the end of your post should help answer the original question.

I'd bet against it.

Well I like les miles but he doesn't exactly use weapons in space like he could. So I highly doubt it. I hope so though.

Miles likes to single out players that are gonna have big years and say this and that. Then it doesn't happen. Someone will ask him about Jackson later in the year when he hasn't played any offense:

"well we had a want to get him in the game but the opportunity didn't present itself. "

This. I'll believe it when I see it.

most likely bc the player didn't really live up to expectations

With his size I bet we see more of him on offense than defense this year to utilize that speed. He will have to get bigger to hold up in run support and to get more physical with SEC receivers off the line.

I doubt if they have something special in Jackson, they will reveal it with MSU and Auburn on deck in games 2 and 3.

This is my take. Use him on kick-offs, and on Offense, and let him get a little more bulk for Defense, next year. Although I do see him getting a few snaps at corner as the year progresses late in games...

I totally agree with that Russell shepherd wasn't used to the best of his abilities

Patrick Peterson? did he have a few limited offensive snaps? No major impact though.

Michael Clayton or another receiver played a little Safety or so I seem to recall. But again, this was VERY limited also and maybe just the last game or in the bowl game.

Holliday got more carries than most positionless return specialists would see in college football. Shepard got carries before he had a position, and the staff did everything they could to turn him into a WR. Last year we gave a speedy walk-on freshman a couple of carries. I think Miles has a pretty decent record of trying to find a way to give speed guys a chance to contribute on offense.

For the best for LSU? Maybe not. Probably should have gotten more carries throughout his career. But for Shep? His only NFL position was going to be WR, and the staff tried their best to groom him for that position.
