I actually think that Musberger is one of the few national announcers that pulls for LSU. Listen to him call an LSU game. You can tell he gets excited when LSU does well. It was very evident in the 2012 game against South Carolina.

He freaking loved LSU against Virginia Tech in 2007. He was obsessed with the new offense under Crowton.

Brent is from Montana, and just loves the PAC 12, but now that his $ come from the SEC more or less, he will be a huge homer for the network. Amazing to me that this game will have a better broadcasting team, than the Wisconsin game.

Me neither. I'm usually too wrapped up in the game itself to pay attention to the announcers. As long as all the tech people do their jobs (good quality broadcast, don't miss plays due to commercials or instant replay), I'll be OK.

This has got to be the worst game that Musburger has called in 50 years. And over/under for Jesse Palmer saying "3rd and California" is set at 14.

I usually don't care who the announcers are, but when I hear Musburgers voice, I cringe. Maybe it was the way he mispronounced Matt Maulk's name throughout the 2003 BCS game, maybe it's that way he fawns over PAC-10 teams..dunno, I prefer anyone else.

Musberger used to get basically the best game of the week and now he gets SEC Network primetime? All the best SEC games will either be on CBS or ABC/ESPN, right?

Disagree. Musberger can't even get players names right sometimes. I find him annoying at times , trying to be melodramatic.
