I think having Melissa Joan Hart representing Alabama is a pretty accurate depiction of their fanbase. She didn't attend Alabama like the other 85% of the Gumps.

all the gumps have is a b-level celebrity? pathetic

Carville is the type of guy that has never met a stranger. Whether you agree with his politics or not, if you meet him, talk to him, know him...you like him. He has tons of Republicans as friends...his wife is prime example.

He's a great ambassador for LSU, Tulane, and Louisiana.

Carville is a neighborhood of St. Gabriel in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States that is 16 miles south of Baton Rouge on the Mississippi River. Carville is the hometown of political personality James Carville and was named after his grandfather, the postmaster. It is also the location of the National Hansen's Disease Museum, which records the history of the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital there, which for a hundred years treated leprosy (now called Hansen's Disease) patients. The hospital has been closed, but several of the buildings remain. This site is now known as the Gillis W. Long Center and is operated by the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Perfectly put. I was impressed enough that he was flying Southwest.

He was wearing the Mardi Gras long sleeve polo and chatting it up with everyone. He was the man

What is wrong with Carville? I can't talk about his high school life but I lot of people were jack asses in high school and college. I know him and I can say he bleeds purple and gold. If you catch him at an airport or somewhere say geaux tigers and if you can get him started talking about lsu football ( after his wife gives you the " really we are doing this again " look of death you will be surprised what he knows and how passionate he is. He is national figure and alumni and loves LSU and Louisiana with all his heart and has and is working to make both better places. If you don't think we need more political clout at LSU look at next funding request and what is actually given to LSU by the legislature.it is the worst funded flag ship university in the United States

Personally rather SHAQ...just sayin
sounds like they were using other celebrities, not former athletes.

And James Carville is the most recognizable Non athlete LSU alum.

Newsflash...the state of La has soooo many things to be embarrassed about, a guy like Carville barely shows up on the radar.

Maybe you can show me where on the LSU application it asks for your political affiliation. The entire time I was at LSU I never realized I wasn't allowed to go to school there because I'm not a republican.

Guess I should renounce my diploma.

I wonder if it's occurred to most people that a majority of our former athletes likely voted democrat.

James Carville is a rabid passionate LSU fan. Being a fan isn't about politics.I love when he talks LSU. Love it. He's a terrific representative.

His "blow up the Rose Bowl" video was awesome. It's too bad the whole thing isn't available anywhere any longer. He destroyed the BCS on it and USC, the PAC 10, 3 Pete and the Rose Bowl. It was priceless.

Part of it is here, but the best parts are missing.

Some of what he said is written here, but the words on paper don't do his rant justice.

You have a very bad case of the du-mas. Very bad.

For clarification purposes and before you accuse me of being politically aligned with him, I'm a registered Republican.

This. If you refuse to acknowledge how awesome someone is simply because you disagree with them politically, you're a bad American.

Clinton was the best president we've had in 20 years - this cannot even be argued. Carville was a big part of that.

He did a great job keeping an eye on the jihadists and making sure they never became a threat to the US!

If only there was a board to put this shite so those of us interested in LSU sports didn't have to look at it...
