apparently....i'm about as hardcore conservative as they come but i honestly couldn't care less if Carville reps LSU. He's well respected by many.

Besides the low information & naïve student section, 90% of the fans in Tiger Stadium on game day cringe when he is on TV spewing his political ideology. He does not represent the views of the vast majority of people in Louisiana & is hated in SEC country.

I know plenty of people who hate where he stands politically but love how he represents Louisiana. Some people are mature enough to separate the two.

I think you are in the minority here

Citations? Where is the 90% number coming from? You just made it up to fit your argument? Oh, ok.

Sow you have low information and are being naive?

Forgetting politics, the man is extremely annoying. He looks like Gollum, he doesn't speak, he screeches. He is that kid on the block that you didn't let in your tree house because he would rat you out if someone hid a Playboy there.

I was having an argument with A Florida fan over who had the most annoying fan base, when she reminded me that Carville was an LSU fan, what could I say but 'you win'.

I'd rather spend an evening with Flo than a minute with Carville.

He was mad

Quite possibly the greatest implied "frick you" ever uttered.

saying that you don't like carville as a representative of LSU because of his politics is like saying that you don't want shaq to represent the university because you don't like basketball.

jesus christ, guys. louisiana is all-conservative, all the time. just because one democrat pops up on your radar, you don't have to shite your pants over it. he doesn't mix politics with sports and he loves LSU as much or more than anyone i've ever known. relax.

bullshite. I'm a Republican and I still admire the passion he has for LSU and Louisiana. I've never heard him get political when talking about his beloved Tigers.

Not only that, he's married to a Republican who served under Reagan and Bush. People are able to separate their political views from the rest of their lives.

He was on my Southwest flight on the way to the Super Bowl. He was carrying conversations with everyone around him. Extremely friendly guy who just seems to enjoy life

Plus he was in old school

James Carville is probably my favorite person in the United States that I strongly disagree with politically.

He is from here, loves LSU and the Saints, and is very intelligent and extremely well-spoken.

Probably the best example of someone I like and mostly disagree with.

And he is a PERFECT person to represent LSU. Makes us look smarter than we actually are. :-D
