His contract hasn't been renewed yet and that makes people assume.
Also the offense stalled so bad it's clear that he will be Miles scapegoat ala Stud & Crowton.

Health problems. Also, the Franks thing, as he was leaving the program long before the Miles stuff, and Franks was coming to LSU to play for Cam. No reason to come if Cam won't be here.

his contract is up, Alleva has made no moves as of yet to renew the contract, and he's undergoing cancer treatment. Seems pretty likely he won't be back next year
