We know he's the better hitter for sure but is Papierski that much better of a catcher?

I think Romero has shown he's a better player

Probably not that much of a drop to Romero defensively. But I haven't seen Romero catch for Lange. I trust Papierski more to knock down all of those balls in the dirt.

Certainly not as much a drop off as a .300 hitter to a .230 hitter.

He's arguably the best hitter on the team

Seen Pap miss a lot of balls behind the plate. I believe Romero should be the starting catcher.

Pap has not been much of a hitter at all.

Hope he turns it around.

Romero has been a tremendous hitter all season and just looks like he can park one any at bat.

I would say Duplantis is the best hitter. Romero more power.

Manieri has that one guy every year that he refuses to play regularly, regardless of production.

No matter how much the some members of the fan base who have at best a shallow knowledge of college level baseball, have never coached baseball at a high level, and do not attend practices or meetings want.
Damn that Manieri!!

And often he talks up how great said players D is. So the Paulistas then overrate the shite out of the guy's D to the point where you'd think his glove is irreplaceable.

He is not going to be able to answer unless Coach told him at a Coaches Committee meeting.

I really don't know. I haven't attended any of the practices and have absolutely NO inside knowledge of how each and every player fits into the team profile.

Am I to assume that you have been to numerous practice and meetings and have serious inside information?

TIA

You won't get a straight answer; at best, only an insult of some kind.

You see, Gray is of the mindset that questioning any decision by any head coach at LSU is disloyalty to the university itself. He's stupid and robotic that way.

Romero is the new Tyler Moore. All he does is mash but Mainieri won't play him consistently.

Let's see............

I am to rely on people that have minimal knowledge and experience at this level. Is that how it works?

I am to trust the judgement of a bunch of internet jocks over someone that has actually done the job done the job?

I am to believe a corps of constant complainers whose qualifications for giving advice is nebulous at best?

I am to take seriously the usual suspects that mindlessly bitch and moan about every coach, every sport and every decision without ever having actually done the job?

I am to believe that a coach doesn't put in the players who are actually better than the ones playing?
To what end?

Is that how it works?

And this makes ME stupid?
