He purportedly has that rare combination of size, power and speed. He played a little bit as a freshman but has hardly sniffed the field at all this year. (Maybe some special teams.) Obviously, he's been pretty far down the depth chart for the past two years, so why hasn't he been given a look at LB? Did he play any defense in high school?

I think they should move him to linebacker. We need him there for sure.

A man without a position behind two incredible talents and two upper echelon talents. It's what you'd expect.

did he even play that in high school? If he hasn't taken a red shirt year yet, he should take one next season and move to LB. Seems pretty similar to Devin White.

He likes being an under the radar player. O being a players coach and all has allowed him to flourish In this way.

That's what I'm getting at. No doubt Devin is a speciman. Divinity can be if he hits the weights in a big way. That's about it. Bama has about 6 specimen beasts at LB. A big reason they beat our asses.

I'd still think he should consider the LB move. It can really boost that position.

I think we will still be stacked at RB with who we have committed and possible Akers.

My son played high school football with Ducre. He played a little LB, but not much. But I agree with your point. He has size and speed and they need bodies at that position next year. He's buried at fullback. Move him next year.

Good reason he hasn't got in at fb is because of John David Moore, best fb we've ever had.

He played a lot of special teams. His time will come next year just as Duke Riley waited his turn!!

I have been wondering the same thing. Aranda should try and switch him to linebacker, if I remember correctly he played that for Mandeville also.

I would have never thought Russell Gage would be contributing at WR, so maybe it's worth a shot.

Can't forget about the great Tommy Banks. Jacob Hester also.

JDM is a pure blocking FB and is very good at what he does. He opens holes and clears pathways for the running backs, maybe gets a carry now and then or catch a pass out of the backfield.

David Ducre is not that. He's a big Running Back with power and speed. He'd be particularly good around the goal or in short yardage.

RB's in high school that were used to being the "Star" and getting most of the snaps do not want to come to college and be a blocking fullback. He needs to be at RB, not FB. Hopefully O/Juluke will see the error and move him to the correct position in the Spring.

He probably hasn't played for the same reason that most don't; doesn't know the playbook, not a hard worker or has done something that's gotten him in the doghouse of the HC or RBC.
