I don't get it. The guy is not just struggling, his confidence is obviously low. So he bats him lead off? I'm fine sticking with him, but bat him 7th or 8th. He doesn't work counts. He rarely fouls off a pitch. ...

I would much rather see Larson in the lead off spot. He really works the count and fouls off pitches. Glad to see Kling coming around, but there is still a lot of swing and miss. I would rather see him 6-8th in the lineup. ...

Every year during the SEC tournament, they post the stats for SEC teams to make the tournament since the field expanded to 64 (since 1999). I took a snapshot of the stat during the 2022 tournament. Here were the numbers:
16 wins or more - 100%
15 wins - 73%
14 wins - 63%
13 wins - 39%

Do you think Jay relies too much on the lefty/righty match-ups for hitting and pitching? Or do you think this is similar to most other coaches? Just wondering. In particular, I'm thinking about Loer since he is struggling so much. The guy was really good for Xavier last year and he can't seem to...
