this is college dude. Richardson and Ingram both averaged over 6 yards a carry last year, as have both Kielland and Chuck in years past. In 07 Hester averaged a little less than 5 and CS and KW averaged around 6.5....
4.3 is nice in the NFL... Average in College

So what YPC average would you like to see, coach? What's the magic number? I mean if running the ball 3 times nets you a 1st down every time then why are you complaining?
Does it need to be a 1st down every 2 plays?

So now they need to know ahead of time when he's going to fumble?
Your hindsight is excellent.
Just admit you'd like to see different players on the field just for the hell of it and not really for any specific strategic reason.

Not last year! Throw in Ridleys touchdown run and he's at 20 for over 100. Considering last years terrible running game not a bad start IMO.

First, I'm a fan not a coach dope. And this is a message board, not a coach's meeting.
Second, like it or not, 4.3 is not a stellar YPC average in college football, and we have always had RB's with a high YPC average here at LSU if you have kept up over the years. I see no reason it shouldn't remain that way, closer to 5 or over 5 would be nice.
