I predicted this on Monday morning; that the haters would be back out in full fire miles mode should we lose. Some are happy now because they can go full rantard.
I actually agree we need an OC after watching all the bowl games and seeing the play calls. But you are wrong to want to fire the man that has kept us in the hunt for most if his tenure.

PERFECTLY said. He thinks he is untouchable. Dumb arse Alleva gave him a contract extension and a raise because Miles took a low shot at LSU and "acted" like he was talking to Arkansas. Now as long as he doesn't lose 4+ a year, he's safe.

I never said he was the wrong man for the job, just too hard headed, an set. He refused to switch QBs in the N C game.
He will not get an Off Cord., and will continue to run, run, run even with a concrete wall in front of the team.
Cannot switch gears in the middle of the game.
But he is a good man and a great recruiter

It's not haters.
It's the spoiled/entitled crowd who demand excellence and accept no excuses/reasons for not winning.
Of course, those are pretty much the same ones who say winning is not everything. How you win is more important to them than winning.

Embarrassed? Uh besides last years NCG, of which our fan base will seemingly never get over, when have we been "embarrassed"?
We win almost every game we play every year and the ones we lose are always close...save one.
I do give CLM a pass on the whole 2008 thing as it definately is an outlier to the rest of his career and I think was the combination of lots of special circumstances.
And for all of you calling for a change in offensive philosphy...well what are we going to change to exactly? You gonna run the spread with Mett or Rivers?
The best coaches in the world, who coach against the best defenses in the world, choose to run our type of offense! That is why it is called a PRO-STYLE OFFENSE. We just need to execute better and Mett needs to play better. If he doesn't then we need to get a better QB. Just like in the NFL, your offense is only as good as your QB.
Be patient little ones, things will get better.

Please don't compare this offense to the Pats or Saints.
