What part of "offensive bottome feeders for the last five years" don't you understand?

i agree 1000%. miles needs to open his mind and get some damn coaches that know the passing game. i'm agains't the spread only scheme but we gotta have some damn plays and players that can get a frickin' first down late in teh game.

in 2012 we were 10-4 counting the two bowl games, why do people keep saying 10-2, with two loses to Alabama in the same year, "JUST WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR" seems like a lost cause, stop playing coaches favorites and play to win, if a senior doesn't play to his potential bench him, don't put him in just because it's his last year

wasnt Charlie Mac fired for great defenses and crappy unimaginative offenses? and the inability to win the the big game?
Posted on 1/4/13 at 9:23 am to mikeytig
he was fired because he couldn't beat Bear

Why people acting as if Miles is the wrong guy for the job? He is an excellent choice to run LSU football program and many schools wish they had him. If you want to criticize, attack his choice of OC and the fact that he needs to give total control to a guy who knows modern offensive football.
You realize his choice for OC and his being too stubborn to give up control to a guy who "know's modern football" is a DIRECT reflection of him. As the HC you're responsible for what happens in your program PERIOD...
That's like saying we shouldn't be mad when a US president picks a joke of a VP and then forces his ideas down the American peoples throat against their will ...... WAIT

So using your dumbass logic, we were 14-0 in 2011.
This site is so full of stupidity...

I hate LSU fans sometimes, especially NegaTigers.
My Great Grandma is 90 years old. She had her birthday party last October. She loves Coach Miles's offense. She says that it reminds her of her youthful, happy days.
You see, Great Grandpa is deceased, but, he played high school football back in early 1940s when he first started dating Great Grandma.
Great Grandma never missed a game back then, and, she says that Coach Miles reminds her very much of her days of watching football when Great Grandpa played.
She does not enjoy watching teams like Oregon play football, however.
You GEAUX, Great Grandma, and GEAUX LSU Tigers.

nothing spells success like under-utilizing talent and getting outcoached.

interdasting.
Or are you saying his amazing coaching prevented the loss to Clemson or the debacle on 1/9?
You can celebrate by scraping by teams like Towson, but winners measure themselves against the best...not the worst.

My Dad is 92 and he thinks Les Miles is a bozo.

If he would have hired a really good OfFensive coordinator like jimbo fisher and let him do his job he would be considered a great coach. He also would have won the national title last year, and be competing for his 3rd NC.
Instead he is a really good not great and his whole offensive staff is over paid considering the "garbage scheme" they put on the field every saturday.
