I was there for that one. There were a ton of good games that year. If I remeber right auburn and msu were really good in the west that year as well.

On a different note, what ever happened to that guy they would put on the jumbotron that would start shaking like crazy? The camera guy always seemed to find him, he was hilarious.

I was there. I remember as we rushed the court the guy in front of me got clothes lined by a security guard. Never did get to thank him for that.

I was there. 2nd to last row from the top. I have the ticket framed. I remember a pretty packed PMAC and a crazy crowd. One of my favorite nights in the old Deaf Dome

I was there! Made the trip down to BR while on leave from Okinawa. The PMAC was rockin and when Jabari Smith faked the behind the back pass and dunked right before half, that place erupted.

I was at both 2000 and 2002. Both were a blast but I put the 2002 game ahead of it. I put 2002 as best basketball game ever been 2. Dupree tried to.give it.away and I don't think the ball landed off the deflection and the.court was being rushed

Arizona wasn't #2, they were 4 in one poll and 5 in the other. And yeah, that was a hell of a game. I remember Stro just went bonkers in that one. A highly underrated piece of that team? Lamont "the pimp" Roland.

Box score from that game.

Just a different era I guess..That atmosphere was definitely exciting.. but it has nothing on basketball with Dale Brown in his prime.

I was there. we also beat a top ranked Kentucky teamn in the PMAC that year.

I remember sleeping on the ramps to get seats for the Kentucky game with Jack Warner doing keg stands the night before. during pregame warm ups, the student section started chanting "keg stand". good times

not nearly as crazy as the time we played Arizona in 1990...Shaq with the dunk over Shawn Rook...and then he does the cabbage patch dance...

Auburn and Kentucky games that year was wild as well! Chris Porter and "Coach's Daughter"! In the Kentucky game Stro almost tore the rim down many times!

Exactly my point..these kids who went to school with John Brady teams don't know that the PMAC really used to be the Deaf Dome.

The Zona game was my first LSU sports experience as a student. I will NEVER forget that or Jabari's jam!

I was there with my roommates having a blast. Now I'm just an old man hanging out with his wife.

Jabari Smith's fake and dunk before the half was one of the most electrifying moments I have experienced as a Tiger fan. That was a great season to be in the student section, but I had to get there early for tickets.
