I was a freshmen that year, that game was awesome. Also in the PMAC that year Nolan Richardson had his team hold the ball the last 4 min so we would not put 100 on them. By far the best memory was the Kentucky game, every time Saul Smith touched the ball all you could hear was the "COACHES' DAUGHTER" chant...oh yeah and Jack Warner doing a keg stand at 3am the morning oh the game.

Was there.

Can we get a count on how many NBA players were on the 'Zona team?

Student section started doing the "left right left right - foul out thing" but instead of saying both feet, they did just "left, left, left" for Jefferson.

Had forgotten about that. It was great.

I was lucky enough to be at that one and Loyola M. when Shaq had like close to 15 blocks! The final score was off the charts for college or pro. I remember the score at half was like 70 something to 70 something.

And Michael Wright was drafted by the Knicks, but I don't think he ever played in NBA

to Jabari Smith's dunk following the fake behind the back pass!

OK here's one for y'all:

Who was at the Southern game earlier that year when Jabari did that dunk for the first time? I think it may have been the second or third game of that year. edit: (maybe the first home game). Whoever was at that game saw the greatness that was to come that season.

Packed house every game. Shaq, CJ, Vernel, Maurice, Hansen, Anderson, Blanton, etc etc..

I was. To this day, it was the best LSU basketball game I have ever attended.

The dunk prior to first half ending was absolute chaos in the PMAC.

Everyone was blowing Loren Woods before that game.
i recall hearing the media talk about how dominant he was supposed to be. woods' play was a weak as wet tissue. stromile & jabari manhandled him down low.
