I was camping with my new fiancé and her parents... Luckily, we had cable hookups at the camp site. I want to say it was Percy Quin State Park.

Watched the first game at my best friends apartment. Watched the second one at the bulldog. After that loss we watched the third game back at my friends place. Waited until the game was over before heading to the bulldog

Partied with SOS and a few others the first week. For the championship game I was sitting down 3rd base line behind the dugout with some Texas fan we picked up who was stranded. Turns out he was Colt McCoy's 1st cousin

I met some nice UT folks on that trip, but I would say by in large, the Longhorn fanbase was comprised of some of the more pompous, self-involved people I've ever met at a sporting event.
I met the "Unofficial Texas Shaman" the night before the final game. What a douche.

I was living in West Texas, and my son was playing select travel baseball. His HC, and half the kids were Messican. They were T-shirt longhorn fans... Totally geared up with the burnt orange, having never set foot on UT campus.
I had about 10 of them at my house, watching Mikie and the dreadlocks of doom own them!

I was working at Plucker's on Nicholson. Awesome night, we all were going crazy the whole game.

Briefly, he had some mardi gras beads in his pocket and showed them to me and said that those beads in his pocket were "going to get us". I told him that it would really get us if he shoved them up his arse. I had LSU=C's dad next to me, so I was not scared.

UT and UNC beat USM
Should've beaten UT in the 1st game if not for Josh Johnston

Were you one of the USM players who scooped up infield dirt to take home as a souvenier?

In the Our Lady of the Lake ER working. All the doctors and nurses kinda shut things done for the last few innings and we all watched it in one of the trauma rooms.

I was watching it with my dad. One the last great memories I had with him. I still remember "the dreadlocks of doom" like it was yesterday.

Right behind home plate in Rosenblatt about 10 rows up with wife, two sons and nephew. It don't get any better than that!
