Anyone repeating those times? I'm about 2 months out from sitting in another sand box, same as 2009. Will be a different group and won't suck as bad but maybe the result will be the same and the Tigers take home another title!!

In Las Vegas at the World Series of Poker. Watched each game in the same seat at the bar of the All American Grille in the Rio between and after events.

I was just talking about this the other day. I'll never forget it. I was in Galway, Ireland watching at the Menlo Park apartments. All I had was a little tiny netbook to watch most of the games. Fortunately ESPN3 didn't have logins like they do now so whatever games were on it (the championship series was) I was able to watch through that. It was about 3AM when the games would end and I had class in the morning around 7 but I stayed up all 3 nights to watch those games. When we won it all we ran through the courtyard hooting and hollering. It was good times.

At the bulldog watching on the big pull down projector screen. I don't really remember the end all that well...started celebrating early. It was pint night and I walked out with 12 bulldog pint glasses. Wish it was shot glass night also because I would've had a handful of those too.

Sitting behind the LSU dugout in Rosenblatt Stadium. Got to meet Jared Mitchell's Dad and Chad Jones' family (not hard to pick out in that crowd). My wife meet Jared's Dad first, because she had to get some shade and stood in the exit aisle. A large man with a championship ring struck up a conversation with her and she ask, "Did you play ball? (looking at the big championship ring on his finger)" He replied, no, but my son won this Nat'l Championship ring in football and we are about to win another in baseball. She said, "who is your son?" He said, "look in right field." My daughter's (15 at the time and now a junior at LSU) favorite player was Jared Mitchell, so it was a big deal to her. A hot 3 days, but a great series. Love Omaha and they love LSU and its fans.

Sitting in the stands at Rosenblatt. Seven rows from field just to the right of LSU dugout. Great trip.

At some bar on the north side of Chicago with a fellow LSU grad and two Texas grads. Their team lost and they had to pay for our beers/dinner.

I was in Austin, TX at one of the LSU bars downtown (Lavaca St Bar). Earlier in the day, a UT fan calls the local radio to complain about the LSU fans showing up at "their" bar - which is at least partially true. So UT fans show up to the bar in droves and try talking smack to the LSU fans - at least at the beginning of the game. Of course, not a single Longhorn was there by the end. Second to Omaha, I couldn't have imagined a better place to be for the CWS than Austin.
