I can't remember exactly where I was. I was 19 by then, so probably in some bar. I just know that I really wanted to just hurt something or someone after that game. I couldn't really speak for 4 or 5 hours. Can't say that any other game in the history of me watching LSU football pissed me off more than that one.

21 yrs old, sitting in my basement watching the game on jeff pilot. i had been invited to auburn by my best friend who was a student at aub at the time, but i elected to stay home. (thank god)
i was so enraged that i was tearing. i couldnt believe we were still throwing the ball against a team that could not move offensively. i immediately left and went to the store to get another 12 pack, hoping to go into a coma.

If memory serves me, AU had 1 first down in the second half of that game.

At home trying to understand this new football strategy LSU was using and asking my junior high football coach why a coach would do that? His response was that Curly didn't like winning.

Can't forget Adrian Karsten as sideline reporter. He used to take a knee and pull up some grass from the gridiron

i had to say that because that game is soooo fresh in my mind. "INTERCEPTED AGAIN!!!! BRIAN ROBINSON.....AND...HE...WILL...SCORRRRRE!" and nothing will ever be better than espn saturday primetime with ron franklin and mike gottfried. the only comparable tandem (showing my age) is keith jackson and frank broyles on abc. keith trying to pronounce hokie gajan, and frank broyles' heavy southern accent. "bo jack-son is a very good ronna"
