the week after that Auburn game, on the news they showed an old car that someone painted "KILL HOWARD" on the side of it.

That was the rant, 1994 style.

Don't put all the blame on Curly,..Lynn Amaedee was offensive qb coach at the time, and he was the one sending down the plays from the press box.....GAME thoroughly pissed me off too...

I was in a car with my wife on my way to visit my Mom. I got so fricking pissed that my wife demanded I stop the car to let her drive.

you posit the wrong question totally. It should read like this: Where were you when Lynn Amedee told Jamie Howard to throw the ball when LSU was up by twenty four points in the fourth quarter. Why did CH let him do it? Why didn't CH fire him on the spot after LA blamed it all on JH.

This is one of the most overrated (good or bad) moments in LSU football history. Sure, it was bad, but we went 4-7 that year and had been bad for the past few seasons. It could have happened in a 10 win season then it would have been a big deal, maybe blowing a SEC or national title.

First year in Alaska. Didn't get the game on the tube so caught the updates watching some other game. Sloshed, I was shocked when I saw the final score.

It was bad... really bad. I remember that game. The only thing that makes me feel better (It totally fixes me today) is that LSU has 2 NC trophies since that game and AU has none.

On my way to Knoxville for the UT/Florida game. The "Big Orange Scoreboard" was giving us updates all the way up I-75.

I was living in Tuscaloosa. We had a company bbq that afternoon and had a tv in a tent many of us watching the game. Most of the crowd were bama fans so they were cheering us on as we built up a good lead. When Auburn finally won after all the interceptions, the crown turned on me with my LSU cap and ragged me unmercifully.

I was in Jordan Hare Stadium. Rode back to Baton Rouge with 3 other guys, no one spoke a word until we got all the way home. Just pure anger.

At the Game In the end zone where the touchdowns came back! Sitting next to my friend, an Auburn Grad, in total disbelief! and shock that our coaching staff would continue to call pass plays!

I remember thinking throughout the game, until the melt down, how well the team was playing and that they seemed to have turned the corner.
