I think some of you guys are much more bitter and hung up on 1/9 than this team is. You get motivated because that team is coming into your house and is in the way of your goals. You smash anyone who tries to rob you of victory and the success you've worked your butt off for.

Before this game started, Kilmer said "48 minutes for the next 48 years of your life". I say "frick that". All right? frick that. Let's go out there, and we play the next 24 minutes for the next 24 minutes, and we leave it all out on the field. We have the rest of our lives to be mediocre, but we have the opportunity to play like gods for the next half of football.
If we go out and half-arse it 'cause we're scared, then we'll always wonder if we were really good enough. But if we go out there and give it all we've got... that's heroic. You guys wanna be heroes?

Start with BCS champ game...talk of adversity since and all season...talk of disrespect since and criticism all season...ask them to then think about the WANT to experience the awesome feeling at the end of the night of a victory that changes the direction of all of the above...Defeat is NOT an option, Victory is the ONLY option!

I would play a video of Bama doing the rammer jammer in the dome. Then show a short harvey updyke segment. Then put a bullet into the TV.

It's obvious from the way you have played thus far, that this game has been on your mind since Jan.9th. You have overlooked every other team that you have played thus far, and it shows. But the one thing that I want you remember is this.
Just remember all of the 50 yard line jokes, about how you are stuck is NOLA, cause someone painted a 50 yard line in front of the bus, and you couldn't figure out what to do. So go out there, and show the world what you are really made of,show them the warrior within. Take from them, what they have taken from you. They killed your dreams last year, so in return, kill thiers. FIGHT FOR VICTORY, leave it all on the field, and VICTORY will be yours.
