These guys kicked a little arse their freshman year.

Those guys got 30+ carries a game.

Also, Hershel never broke 6 yards a carry in all of his career.

I am not saying LF is or isn't anything, but there is absolutely no way to tell anything with 7-10 carries a game and a shitty Oline.

Lulz. He is easily the best back on the team.

Maybe he is if we see him get more touches in the back half of the game. I'd like to find out. Fournette is averaging 5.3 ypc with 2 tds, Hilliard is averaging 4.9 ypc with 4 tds and Williams is averaging 4.6 ypc with 3 tds. So there has been no gigantic separation so far.

The line has not blocked well but for all you idiots to say he's CLEARLY our best back are drinking the kool-aid. What games have you been watching to determine this?

I posted this two posts above you and I think this has foundation to those beliefs...

Just the facts:
LF has highest YPC for RBs
LF has longest run from scrimmage for RBs
LF has most runs of 20 yds or more on team

and I might add that he is a better pass reciever than the others. Hilliard is not bad but LF can get downfield better and has great hands.

Dude your stats are skewed. He's had like 1-2 runs over 20 yards. His average per carry isn't much higher than Hilliard or Williams and we've only played four games. No way you can determine he's our best back based on that. Just stupid. I'd actually like to see Williams get 20 touches and see what happens. I hope Fournette ends up being every bit as good as the hype but he's just not at this point and no one can honestly say he's our best back. They're just saying that because he's a 5 star freshman getting playing time.

That stat of most carries of 20 yds or more came from SECN show pregame analysis. I trust they did their homework...

Not used enough. He's the only back with enough speed to hit the hole and run outside the tackles. I feel like he's gotten a little better by each game. I'd like to see him get 20-25 touches.

he's going to have to learn to pick his knees up high when he's near a defender. He runs too high and chops his feet which brings them too close together.
He definitely has the strength and power to get down low and churn his legs.
If he doesn't learn this then he will be a bust. just my opinion

reminds me a lot of Yeldon with Bama. Runs somewhat up right, has good speed and one cut ability. Will only get better.

I don't think there's much of a point in looking at stats right now. We've played one B1G team and one SEC team so far. I think he's doing fine... not getting a lot of snaps but giving us above-average performance compared to the other backs. We'll see how those numbers look after Auburn, Bama, aTm, Florida, and Ole Miss.

He needs more carries and better blocking. The game was an absolute embarrassment.

Yeah i agree about the line. If he had the same holes that miss state had he would gain 200yds per game

It's hard when most of his carries are the same play that was just run. Literally they have not been very imaginative in the play calling.

He should be the 3rd down back catching passes and he should be involved in all out counter plays.
Hillard and Williams should be the up the middle backs.

Xactly. Other than his 24/7 ranking, no clear separation shown on the field.

I know one thing, if CLM squanders this guy's talent by not giving him the chance to playa lot (plenty of touches) then we're in even worse shape than I thought was possible.

I know Les has his way of doing things, but I wish he would give Fournette more carries.

Hilliard, our senior RB: 68 att, 310 yards, 4.5 ypc

Fournette is averaging 5.2ypc and is our 3rd or 4th best receiver. Behind a shitty OL.

I'd call him elite even by SEC standards.
